My fiancé and I chose Blue Corn Cafe for our wedding dinner on the recommendation of one of my employees. I had eaten there once before and knew the food was good, so I figured it was worth a shot to reach out. The owners, Danielle and Antonio, were so kind and welcoming and accommodated all of our requests (even allowing us to grow the party by 20). I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Beautiful atmosphere, staff, and food. I could not have chosen a better place to spend my Friday evening. Your chefs can truly cook authentic Latin cuisine. And those salsas were so tasty. Thank you for this warm and pleasant experience We’ll definitely visit again!

Pretty good — highlights were the plantains and the value of the 3-item combo plate. Good ambiance as well, not too crowded Friday night. Our waiter Sebastian was super friendly! Thanks. Finally, nice to support a business that has been on 9th since 1997 (!!)

Wonderful Latin/Caribbean flavors. The tostones are some of the best we have had anywhere and the mole sauce is incredible. Other dishes are an excellent twist on traditional Latino dishes. The atmosphere is inviting and the service is helpful and friendly. P.S. also a short but outstanding wine list.

First-time diners and the experience did not disappoint! The restaurant was spacious and clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. Our server, Tessa, was very knowledgeable of the food selections and provided us with exceptional service. We ordered guacamole for an appetizer, and it was delicious. The steak fajitas were tasty, and the black beans were out of this world. I highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try.

Not many restaurants actually have a tantalizing aroma (unless you validate that which is naturally being produced as a result of chemistry occurring in the kitchen). However, a wonderful scent drifts within the confined walls of Blue Corn Café! The pleasant smell isn’t intense; you only get a whiff upon entering. Anyway, the café is well kept, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. For an appetizer, my daughter and I had guacamole and cheese dip with multicolored chips. Appetizing indeed! For our main dishes, she selected a steak quesadilla and I had steak fajitas. I highly recommend both! Very delicious meals (she gave me a bite)! I did notice, unlike other restaurants offering Hispanic foods, the black beans had a distinct, sweet taste. I personally enjoyed them! Our server was a young man, Sebastian. He was raised with great manners. Not only did he served us well, but he even held the door for us when exiting the lobby. We shall return!

It was very small, yet charming. The artwork looked personalized. The wait staff were very friendly. The Queso Fundido is amazing. The only downside of the Blue Corn Quesadilla is if you dont eat it very quickly it will become soggy bevajse of the veggies inside such as the squash and zucchini. Overall great experience.

We ate at Blue Corn Cafe for a private party. The food was delicious, especially the chicken enchiladas and the guacamole. The watermelon margarita was so good, too. The highlight was our server, Karenna (sp?) who was wonderful…friendly, accommodating, and efficient!

Blue Corn Cafe made our date night exceptional. This 9th Street Latin restaurant is wonderfully cozy yet spacious. The service was excellent. From the moment we walked in to when we left, service was 10/10. The food was mouthwateringly delicious. Everything our server Troy recommended was delicious. We are definitely returning to try the rest of the menu. Also, there is a Taco Happy Hour and outdoor dining.

Extremely bland food, the owner Danielle I believe was her name was also extremely rude. Over priced and bad service go literally anywhere else, you’ll get better food at a McDonalds.
