This is a cool place downtown to get a coffee, smoothie, pastry, or sandwich. The decor hues to the rustic theme of other buildings near the Rock River, and the atmosphere is laid back. You may see students studying (or taking a break), businesspeople meeting, or clubs gathering here. You soon learn why; the food is very good!

Stopped in to have a latte this morning and the coffee was really well done. I went with a latte, so nothing too crazy, but it was well made. The baristas were friendly and polite and just over all my experience here was fantastic. If you’re in the area (even the Rockford area) it’s worth a drive over.

I ordered a cold brew with a splash of 2%. They made me cold brew with whole milk & skim milk… if you don’t have 2% tell the customer. Also, a splash doesn’t mean fill half the glass with milk. And, awful customer service! The girl was so rude about it.
