We went wine tasting and came here for an afternoon lunch. Great atmosphere and location. Kid friendly. It was not busy but service and the kitchen was slow. My burger was suppose to be medium rare and wasn’t; my buddy’s chicken was dry; but the mushroom cubano sandwiches were good.

Really nice vibe and a HUGE whiskey selection. (Try the Chocolate Old Fashioned!!)
The sliders were great and the fries were also good.
A really good bar hang!

We went to what might be my all-time favorite event in wine country – a grilled cheese tasting! Bloom is already an incredible space, perfect for brunch, but they outdid themselves. The food was fantastic and the staff were wonderful!

I stopped at Bloom Carneros for lunch while my guests were out wine tasting, and it turned out to be a great find. I ordered the baby back ribs and overall the meal was very good. The kung pao sauce leaned a bit on the familiar side flavor-wise, but still paired nicely with the dish. The fries were extra crispy, which if that is your thing (and it definitely is mine), you will love them.

The staff was warm and friendly, and the whole spot has an interesting, almost hidden feel. It is the kind of place you might only know about if you are local or if someone told you to exit off Sonoma Highway. The outdoor area has a relaxed picnic-style vibe that really makes it stand out.

I look forward to stopping here again in the future and trying more of their menu.

We had high hopes for this place since it was mentioned as one of the few kid friendly spots in the area. We came on a Saturday for lunch – plenty of seats and a playground (great!)

Unfortunately the service was extremely lacking. We got our own high chair, glasses for water, and even had to fetch the waiter ourselves. We ordered a starter, a side, a main and a kids meal. The starter and side took ~30min to arrive. I went to ask about the rest of our meal and they blamed a change in system on the delay. What it doesn’t explain though is why other tables got their food and finished their meals, even though they arrived after we ordered, while we were still waiting for our food. It also doesn’t explain why our burger was soggy and fries were lukewarm. Anyway, I spoke with the manager. They took off the burger because 50min of our time is worth only $25 I guess.

1 star for the kids playground.

Bloom Carneros: Sparkling rosé, ancient vines, and a brunch worth remembering.

We came to Bloom for a birthday brunch and left completely enchanted. The sparkling rosé was a standout—elegant, crisp, and genuinely one of the best I’ve had. I’d come back for that alone.

Brunch itself was beautiful—seasonal, flavorful, and plated with care. Not overdone, just perfectly balanced. Afterward, we stayed for a tasting flight that explored the more adventurous side of their cellar, including:

Orange wines that leaned floral and bright (though I’d love to see them left on the lees a bit longer for that extra depth you get in Hungary or Georgia)

Ancient vines, with fruit from the late 1800s and early 1900s—are intensely flavorful and rare to taste. These older vines struggle more, so the yield is smaller but the wine is full of character.

The real magic, though, was in the hospitality. Our tasting guide had a degree in winemaking and shared her knowledge generously—thoughtfully tailoring the experience and elevating the entire afternoon. She made my friend’s birthday feel personal, relaxed, and incredibly special.

Top reasons to go:

Truly excellent sparkling rosé

Warm, knowledgeable service

️ Refined but approachable brunch menu

Fascinating flight: orange wines + ancient vines

‍♀️ A calm, elegant space to slow down and savor

If you’re looking for a place that’s both elevated and welcoming, Bloom Carneros is a must. I’ll be recommending it to everyone.

The artwork on the bottles is amazing and I would love to see the artist’s work hung in the tasting room.

I visited this place for Sunday lunch. Food is slightly above average, and comes with nice presentation. My favorite was the strawberry shortcake, which is also shown on their website. But I wish they had more variety on their main dishes since most of them were either sandwich/burger/tacos.
Service was okay and the garden seating was decent. Overall, it’s a nice place to dine when you visit Sonoma.

This is a place that I will always come back to and dine whenever I am in the area. This is an outdoor dining space with wine tasting, casual yet cosy vibe, and with nice art pieces displayed at the time. They are dog friendly, kid friendly and good for groups.

We made reservations for a group of five, for brunch. Their service is excellent: fast, attentive to details, made great recommendations on food and things to do in the area and they didn’t mind having us stay inside after dining (because we weren’t waiting for our uber to come and it was taking them a while).

The food was amazing, the chef really did a great job curating each meal because the flavors are unique, seasonal and the ingredients are fresh – be sure to ask about the chef’s specials.

They have a good selection of food, drinks and even dessert.

Atmosphere is fantastic and service is great. Food was honestly a bit disappointing. I had high hopes for the pork belly; about half the pieces were great and half were overcooked. The fried chicken bites and fried chicken sandwich are fantastic. And the Burrata was somewhat disappointing. Prices are ok (on the expensive end). Overall, would come back

Had an amazing lunch at the bar. Our bartender Sean was incredible, food was delicious and we tasted a ton of wine. Even left with several bottles from the vineyard that were surprisingly pleasant. Highly recommend this gem we stumbled across.
