You might be tempted to try this location but don’t. We ordered two burritos #1 and #2 and when biting into our burritos our hash browns were hard as a rock. When we asked for a refund, the guy at the window then proceeded to convince us that they were “just crispy.” Crispy is the understatement of the year. They were completely inedible. It felt like I was chewing on raw spaghetti noodles.

Tonight was my beat experience at this location. Great service from David and staff mates, and the food was like blakes of the old days.I had excellent customer experience on January 19th around 7pm. My food was ready quickly and I accidentally know my drink off the counter. They took care of my mistake without making me feel worse than I did.
I work in the neighborhood so I’ve eaten here many times. It’s hit or miss the customer service is just ok. The people on shift tonight deserve recognition, thank you!!!

Okay, I have eaten at a Blake’s elsewhere and did not particularly care for it. Promised my Nephew I’d try the one in Rio Rancho. What can I say, a definite 5 star. Wanted to try the New Mexico style, and regular Burger. The New Mexico burger is not for the faint of heart. Though I enjoy spicy hot! The meat was juicy , but not greasy, the ingredients were essentially fresh. Watched the buns being toasted and the burgers being put together. Most impressive. Had burgers 15 and 20 dollars that were not as good. The people there work hard, and I sure hope they’re appreciated by management. Will definitely be back.

Horrible 0 out of 10 would not recommend the employees are rude they all have long hair and not wearing hair nets while making the food which is absolutely disgusting they forgot a drink we asked for seasons fry’s and were given normal fry’s after waiting 30 minutes in the drive through when we were the only car they. It seemed like they were more concerned with there social lives then making our order and making it correctly. If I could give negative stars I would the manager really needs to clean this place up and train there employees. The fry’s were soggy and cold on top of not being the right kind. The spicy buffalo sandwich had the tiniest amount of buffalo sauce. I will be letting everyone know not to come here. This is the worst blakes in New Mexico.

We ordered three burgers and three fries. We called it in, went inside to get our order, and drove home. We were missing a burger. Went back and management accused us of wanting free items. We showed the receipt and asked for our burger, that was it. Management was rude and inconvenienced because they had to correct our order. We also noticed that the same people were still waiting for their food. Apparently, there was a much bigger order that they were trying to fill before serving others. The experience left a sour taste in our mouths.

Terrible! Went thru drive-thru with my kids. Ordered burritos and asked to have them cut in half. Also ordered a peach milkshake because they had the sign out on the road as well as on the menu. The worker had no idea what a peach milkshake was so we switched to chocolate. Got up to get our order and was told there was no shake mix. Burritos weren’t cut so sent them back to have them cut but this thoroughly annoyed the worker. He pretty much threw the raggedy bag back at me. I had to go inside to request napkins. Got to the park to eat and 2/3 is the burritos were so small and lacking ingredients. They were the size of a frozen store-bought patio burrito. I took a bite of mine and had a mouth full of EGGSHELLS. I spit it out and there were even more on the second bite. This was inedible and I had to throw it out and go somewhere else. What a bad experience. Shame on them.

Ordered three burger meals and a LG onion ring through the lota burger app. Previously I had issues with items not arriving so I called and spoke with a team member to ensure that all items would be delivered. Associate assured me that it would all be delivered. Once the order arrived we were missing the fries and the onion rings.The specific toppings requested for the burgers were either not there or on a different burger. Called the restaurant again associate stated fries were in the warmer that they weren’t given to driver that I could come get them. The whole point was not to have to leave the house. Ended up with pizza and full dogs. Not supper happy.

Ordered through app – arrived to pick up 5 minutes before stated time and was told it would be another 15 minutes. The were two other vehicles in the drive thru & one person in the lobby. Seems only one person was working the entire store. We got our food but it was near inedible – buns were dry and hard like they’d been left out all night and burger patties were cold and hard. Fries were overdone and not salted.
Follow-up: Called the number below and left a message. Received callback next day and, after recounting my experience and waiting on hold for “research” (total time of call 13:18), only remedy offered was a gift card for the amount of my purchase redeemable only at Blakes.

How many times does an order have to be wrong before you leave a one-star review? I work right next to this location, but I’d rather drive all the way to the 600 Unser Blvd location just to get my order right.
My most recent order was a burrito that came with chili sauce — even though I specifically requested no chili in the Blake’s app. I have a medical condition that prevents me from eating chili, so this isn’t just about preference. To make things worse, the order was about 30 minutes later than the app estimated, so reordering wasn’t even an option.
This is now the fourth time in a row my order has been wrong. I’ve even spoken to the manager in person before, hoping the issue would be resolved, but unfortunately, nothing has changed.
It shouldn’t be this hard to read and follow simple instructions on an order ticket. Mistakes happen, but this level of inconsistency is unacceptable. I genuinely like Blake’s, but this location needs to take much more care with order accuracy and customer instructions. Until then, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
