I tried the Gekikara Miso Ramen and WOW! the flavor was absolutely spot on! One of the best ramen bowls I’ve had, perfectly balanced and full of taste. The restaurant itself is cozy and beautifully decorated, which makes the whole experience even better. The staff are also super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a must visit in Warsaw if you’re craving authentic Japanese food!

Finally got a chance to eat some yakitori in Poland! I recommend this place for their yakitori and other fried tempura battered dishes. A honorary dish to try is the takoyaki .

They have Kirin draft which will make your dine-in experience feel more of a Tokyo after work vibe.

Service is great. They are warm and friendly.

The place is really nice. I like it as it is giving nostalgic flash back of the 80-90s Japanese pop culture.

Disappointed experience. Nice Izakaya atmosphere but ventilation system wasn’t great, the restaurant was full of greasy smoke. Me and my friend felt stuck so had to leave soon. Unfortunately foods were not great, especially ramen and yaki soba were absolutely not what I expected and not authentic. I ended up left over almost whole dish. Only appetisers like Takoyaki and fried sweet potato were fine. If someone wants try ramen I’d recommend another ramen places near around.

Authentic Japanese Experience – Highly Recommended!
Mugi Izakaya is a true gem! The food is authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious – a real treat for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Make sure to book a reservation as it gets busy quickly after opening, which speaks to its popularity. The menu is well-curated, offering a fantastic selection of dishes that will delight any Japan enthusiast. Overall, a fantastic dining experience – highly recommended!

Tha best ramen / soups in Warsaw! I tried many other restaurants and deliveries, The Mugi is the tastiest. They deliver / serve the bouillon separated from the ingredients of the soup. And everything comes to the apartments very hot and fresh. Big portions.

Food is delicious and very authentic. We ordered a few different appetizers, and it was more than enough to get full. Save room for dessert, you don’t want to miss out on those sweet treats. Make sure to make reservations in advance.

This Japanese bar offers an authentic and enjoyable experience. The menu is small but well thought out, with great options like flavorful soups, appetizers, and seasonal dishes. Everything is prepared using traditional Japanese methods, which really makes the food stand out.

It is a fantastic spot to enjoy authentic Japanese food and drinks. We have been here several times, and each visit has come with excellent service and delicious, authentic dishes. One of the best places to go for Japanese food. I highly recommend it. Make a reservation before you go.

I really like this place — there are plenty of choices, and I end up eating way too much every time. The staff member who served us yesterday was also super nice and gave us lots of helpful suggestions and recommendations. Much appreciated!

Best place in Warsaw to eat Yakitori so far.

We ordered thigh with leek, minced chicken, quail eggs with bacon, liver and hearts. I would definitely recommend all of these, perfectly grilled over charcoal. Crispy on the outside and tender inside. I also recommend taking it with simply salt and lemon for the original flavor.

The ramen and curry rice on the other hand is lacking in flavor. The sauce and soup are both too diluted and therefore not seasoned enough.

Onigiri tasted freshly made and came warm. The ambience in the restaurant was also amazing with the traditional Izakaya setup.

Would definitely recommend this to any Yakitori lovers in Warsaw!!
