Black Cap Coffee is awesome! It’s definitely a wonderful addition to the beautiful walkable downtown Stowe area. They have the single greatest pastry I’ve ever had in all of Vermont – the churro bun!! Imagine a cinnamon bun, but it’s a churro! Gooey, cinnamon-y, and just pure heaven! You need to try it if they didn’t run out yet when you visit. Not only do they have an extensive list of great baked goods, many are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian! You can get any of their sandwiches on gluten-free bread, and they also have a wide range of great coffees and teas. Be sure to check their seasonal drinks because they’re some of the best! Such an awesome place!

Honestly was super disappointed. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk and it was… 11 dollars!? That is insanity on another level. I understand inflation but wow, that is too much. Plus, the coffee was just okay at best. Wanted to get food, but the selection is very strange and tiny and nothing really sounded good. The staff was very nice, though. Save your money.

Black Cap Coffee and Beer in Stowe, VT is a must-visit for coffee and food lovers. Their cold brew is smooth and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and bitterness. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich is delicious, with crispy bacon, perfectly cooked egg and melted cheese. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this place when visiting stowe. We fell on to this gem when the popular place in town had a 70min wait and it was the best thing that could have happened. They have the best bakery goods . We had the maple sausage Croissant and the Almond creme croissant that were one of the best I have ever had. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We went back again the next morning.
