As a Thai customer, I was truly impressed. I ordered the crispy pork basil and garlic shrimp, and both dishes were exceptional—beautifully cooked, rich in aroma, and full of authentic Thai flavors. What really stood out was the ability to choose Thai-style spiciness that tastes exactly like food back home, not toned down or adjusted for tourists.

The quality of ingredients and balance of flavors show real attention to detail. Another big plus is that the staff can speak Thai, which made the experience feel warm, comfortable, and genuinely Thai—even in New York.

The only small drawback was the lack of Wi-Fi, but with food this good, it hardly mattered. Overall, an excellent dining experience and one of the best places for refined, authentic Thai cuisine in NYC.

The food was pretty good! We didn’t get the restaurant week menu but it would’ve been more worth the value since we paid around the same with 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, and 1 cocktail. The pork ribs were a little sweet so I wouldn’t get that again, but the tom yum fish soup was clear and perfect for the cold weather. I also liked the flavorful wings that tasted like guilty pleasure. The prices are pretty high for what you get, though, so I would try to go with a discount or for the restaurant week menu.

One word – Delish! Came highly recommended from a friend and so glad we tried it out. Ambience had a cool vibe to it. I picked the sang neon for cocktails and loved the unique colors and taste. For appetizer, we went with the shrimp donut and it was mouth watering. Mains we shared the pad Thai (the best I’ve had in a while) and the goong curry – so flavorful, just wished it had a little more of the curry portion to it.

I came here on a cold Thursday evening in mid January for dinner with two others. We specifically booked this restaurant because I think Asian cuisine is the best to have when dining in Midtown and we were seeing a show around the corner. We made the reservation a few weeks in advance; however, that didn’t seem necessary as the restaurant had available seating.

With offerings like an Everything Spring Roll and Shrimp Donut, I thought the menu was pretty different from other Thai places I’ve been. The food was fresh and good. Everyone who worked at the restaurant was lovely and the food came at a reasonable pace. We had two drinks per person, two appetizers, two entrees, and two sides between the three of us. We spent about $100 per person including tip.

I would recommend this restaurant and I would come back.

We ate here for lunch and got three entrees off the regular menu, everything was incredibly delicious with an amazing depth of flavor. Cholly was our server and she was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She explained the dishes to us and provided excellent recommendations. Best Thai place we have eaten at so far.

2nd time to visit. Brought here by a friends visiting from Manila last year. How they found this place likely by word of mouth. Came back because the food was awesome. Very unique, tasty and eclectic. Place is cozy, clean and the staff very friendly. Its a hidden gem, hole in the wall and budget friendly!! Cocktails and desserts are modern and delicious.

We had a recommendation from a friend to try this place, and were blown out of the water on how amazing our experience was. The owner, Tan, from Bangkok, is a cocktail extraordinaire and creates the most amazing array of aromas and tastes with his drinks. He really delivers with his authentic recipes with his New York modern-twist (Thai Tajin-whaat?!) I can’t talk up the food enough so I will just give you my recs: Prawn Pad Thai, Bkk Hot Dog, sugar Snap Peas & Tofu Prik Khing, Pak-Mor appetizer. I promise you will not be disappointed with this place. You’re welcome!

Rlly delicious flavors. I recommend the beef brisket dip sandwich. Fair warning, they consider 5 people a large party and charge you as such. Also the the chicken wings are cut in half for some reason.

Tasty Thai street food. We enjoyed our brunch at BKK,the staff was welcoming and attentive and the cuisine was quite tasty. The standout dish was the BKK hotdog made with a house made sausage, the shrimp donuts were a funky treat.

If you’re looking for a sensational and unique Thai restaurant, where your palate will “ thank you”, you have to make a reservation at BKK New York on West 56th Street. We’ve eaten in many Thai restaurants but none with a menu or dishes like we experienced in this fabulous restaurant. Our server, Prare was wonderful. She helped explain our options and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy our dinner before heading to the theater.
