Since we opened our doors in 2012, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse has quickly become one of the best places to eat in Hillsboro. Our covered patio is perfect for enjoying the fresh air, and our large dining area means we can accommodate many guests. For private parties, we have a large room that can be closed off and seats up to 80 people where you can connect directly to the sound and two large flat-screen TVs for a personalized experience. We’ve found this is great for business meetings and large gatherings alike! Come find us on Northeast Cornell Road, just three minutes south of Highway 26. I always have great service at BJ’s and the food has always been awesome in the past. Unfortunately this experience this last time may be my very last time. My server was excellent and accommodating however they got rid of the Bison which was usually my main reason for visiting and it’s the only beef I can really eat. I ordered a second favorite and it just didn’t hit the spot this time. Parmesan crusted chicken over loaded mashed potatoes with broccoli. The bacon on the loaded mashed potatoes was too fatty and I had to pick out a lot of pieces. Since it was happy hour; I also got a rum and coke. It had captain morgan in it. The drink seemed a bit watered down this time so I was very unimpressed with that. The artichoke and spinach dip was still really delicious no argument there. Overall my experience was pleasant yet not as satisfying as I had hoped. Luckily there are other establishments around that serve bison still. (I am aware that the cooks are not in control of the product they receive, so having no bison or having fatty bacon is a corporate thing, purchase better product for your customers. )

Had date night at BJ’s & it didn’t dissapoint!! We sat in the bar & had impeccable service. Our food was delicious & it was nice to watch football on the bigs TVs. Our appetizers, entrees, dessert, & drinks were all top notch. Highly recommend!

Dropped by on a Thursday around 2pm and got seated immediately. We got lavender lemonade which was like drinking flowers if you like that kind of thing Ordered broccoli cheddar soup for an appetizer and it was steaming hot perfection! We ordered a Barbecue chicken Chopped Salad and Strawberry Fields Chicken Salad! I LOVED the BBQ salad! I thought it was great! Crispy fried onions strings on top of a tender bbq chicken salad with sweet corn, black beans, crunchy jicama, mozzarella, cilantro BBQ ranch dressing and hickory smoked BBQ sauce! The strawberry fields salad was topped with a light vinaigrette which was too light for our preference and the strawberries unfortunately were not fresh. Otherwise, salad was good!!

My husband loves their prime rib, but this may be the last time we order. The green beans were rotten, asparagus was doused in lemon and inedible because of taste, and the pizookie was RAW!! At least the meat is edible, but everything else is going on the trash.

All four of us got mozerella & tomato salads that we HIGHLY recommend!! — We were visiting with family and they made sure we tried out BJ’s before we left. We ordered delivery online tonight. Our friends ordered the steak dinner and Alfredo dinner. We ordered the soup and salad combo, one with vegan lentil and one with the Piranha Chili. We all loved our meals, however; 4/5 due to Lentil Soup arriving cold. Regardless, good eats! Sorry guys, forgot a picture of the steak dinner!

Vegetarian options like deep-dish pizza, nachos, flatbread, pita tacos with quinoa, and hot fudge brownies were impressive. The cocktails were done well, too. The bar and interiors were tastefully done. I was pleasantly surprised to see a large table available for our group. There is plenty of parking around the restaurant.
