We went on a Monday night and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. We were seated right away, which was great — but that’s where the positives ended. Two tables near us already had their food, yet we waited and waited without even being greeted. Several staff members walked past us, including a hostess who stood talking to a man in a black face covering for nearly ten minutes while we were clearly waiting to order.

After trying to get someone’s attention, I finally waved down another employee who said he was “doing his checks” for the night — meaning he was clocking out — and that’s why he hadn’t offered to help. He apologized, said he’d find our server (someone named “D,” I believe), and told us the server would be with us “soon.”

We continued to wait as that same server walked by multiple times without stopping, so we eventually gave up and moved to the bar just to get service.

The bartender, Tammy, greeted us and was friendly at first. She apologized and said she’d take care of us. We ordered drinks and wings — both were good. However, while waiting for our entrées, she started talking with another employee about our original server, questioning whether he was “on something” and saying he wasn’t normally like that. I appreciated her concern, but those kinds of conversations shouldn’t happen in front of customers.

When my fiancé asked for another strawberry lemonade, her tone shifted and she sounded frustrated, saying, “I’m only one person, and there isn’t much purée left.” I tried to stay positive and polite, but it felt tense and uncomfortable.

When our entrées arrived, both of us were disappointed. I ordered a 16 oz ribeye (nearly $40) with a loaded baked potato (listed as $6.49 but the menu showed a lower price). The potato was lukewarm and hard — definitely not baked properly. I asked for sour cream, and after some back-and-forth, requested a new potato altogether.

When she returned, she could see we were both struggling with our steaks. They were cooked medium rare as ordered, but the meat was thin, tough, and completely lacked the marbling of a ribeye — it tasted more like a tri-tip cut. She removed my steak and potato from the bill, but didn’t check on my fiancé’s meal, which was also barely touched, or offer to have a manager stop by.

Later, she made a sarcastic comment when I offered her a slice of pizza we’d ordered, saying, “Oh no, I’m good — I’ll just eat my cold dinner over here, thanks though,” with a laugh. At that point, it just felt awkward and uncomfortable.

To top it off, my dessert — a cookie — was raw in the center. It actually tasted great, but I spent the next two days sick to my stomach, which may not be a coincidence.

Overall, the experience was unprofessional and disappointing from start to finish. From being ignored at the table, to overhearing staff gossip, to feeling uncomfortable trying to make the bartender feel better about her shift — we left feeling completely dismissed and cheated. For the prices charged, this should have been a pleasant evening, not an ordeal that left us regretting the visit altogether.

We stayed at a hotel nearby and decided to try BJ’s, definitely a good choice, you don’t see tri-tip on very many menus and it was cooked perfectly, highly recommended. We had the avocado eggrolls as well, the dipping sauce was very good. The beer selection was extensive and I enjoyed my stout.

Spent $33.50 for dinner including 20% tip

The wings were cold, dry, and burnt to a crisp, for $17, no sauce on the side just a drizzle of ranch on the wings. Ask for a side of ranch and they give you about a thimbles worth. Ordered a side of fries for $6, they forgot them, then after reminding the server they brought out a the smallest plate they could find with a tiny portion of fries. The $5 happy hour cider was the only good part of the experience. The server was friendly and tried their best, but the food was too burnt to finish which was the entire point of going out to eat. The rest of my tables food was generally found to be bland and over priced. I don’t recommend BJ’s.

I have been here plenty of times without any issues but today was my first time trying delivery. I was very upset when my daughter was eating her chocolate chip pizookie and hurt her tooth on a rock hard silver object that was found in the cookie. I attempted to call the restaurant numerous times and was disconnected multiple times. As well as someone answering as BJ’s restaurant when choosing option 3 to speak with a team member, then when I asked for a manager, I was placed on hold for someone to come back on the line to say I wasn’t calling BJ’s and I had the wrong number. This experience has discouraged me and my family from ever visiting this restaurant again considering my child could have choked or broke her tooth.

BJ’s has a new $13 entrée + personal pizookie deal, and since I’ve never had a pizookie before, my partner was super excited for me to try one!

When we got there, I was surprised to see a 30 minute wait on a Thursday night. The place is huge and spacious, and I love the artwork they have for their different beers. Tonight wasn’t a beer night, but we’ll definitely be back for their happy hour because the menu looks amazingggg.

The $13 menu had a lot of great options, and it was hard to choose, but I ended up getting the chicken bacon ranch piadina with onion rings, while my partner went with the Great White mini deep dish. Both were delicious and packed with flavor! Surprisingly, we even had some leftovers for the next day.

I was also really excited that we got to pick our pizookie flavors. We went with the strawberry shortcake and the triple chocolate. SO YUM. Even though the personal pizookies are tiny, they were the perfect size to satisfy a sweet tooth. So worth it for $13!!!

I also love the BJ’s rewards system. It’s got me hooked, and I’m definitely going to be visiting more

Came for lunch on a Friday and got seated right away. It’s clean, bright, high ceilings. I ordered the skinny margarita and my husband ordered a beer. We also ordered our entrees at the same time. Then we waited….. after 20 minutes we stopped our server to ask about our drinks and he was like “oh I have to go to the bar and get them.” They did taste good so there’s that. But then we continued to wait for our food for another 15 minutes or so. We noticed the tables around us with the same server were having similar experiences. Not sure if it was the server or short staffing overall or something but that definitely detracted from our meal. I had the nachos with chili as my meal and my spouse had the brewhouse burger with fries. Our food was tasty but based on the extremely slow service at a time when the restaurant wasn’t super busy, don’t think I’d return.

The servers Meagan and Michael are the best! I had Michael yesterday, I’m back today and Meagan is a sweetheart. I’ve had the tri tip, prime rib, wings, artichoke dip, pizza, Mediterranean Chicken Bowl, and cookie since I’ve been coming to this location. Everything is surprisingly good, and this is the best restaurant on Wolf Rd.

The specials and prices are surprisingly good. The Prime Rib and Tri tip are really good and affordable, especially if you are high protein/Paleo/etc. The menu is manageable, unlike Cheesecake factory or other chains that have top big a menu to manage.

Skip the fights at Texas Roadhouse, Terrible cooks at Longhorn, overpriced Ruth’s Chris, Etc. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed. The bathrooms are flooded unusually often is the only bad thing I can say.

All the staff we encountered were helpful and nice. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. This was my first time at BJ’s and I was really happy with the menu, staff and price. No complaints! It was a good experience and I appreciate that they have GF and lower calorie options too. Th trivia that you could join was also cute and filled in lulls in conversation.

Lexi was a great server. She gave great recommendations and had our food and drinks in a timely manner. Desert was delicious. Though they were extremely busy however, she was very attentive. Would absolutely recommend anyone to come here again.
