Bit Burger has an awesome, kitschy atmosphere—think neon nostalgia, 80s arcade vibes, and shelves of retro games and collectibles that make you smile the moment you walk in. It’s one of those places where the setting alone is worth the visit. The employees were genuinely kind and attentive, which made the experience even better.
The food itself was just okay. My order arrived lukewarm, and while I personally love a toasted bun, that’s definitely more of a personal preference. The fries could have been fresher—good flavor, but lacking that crisp bite you hope for.
Overall, Bit Burger is a super fun spot to hang out, take in the nostalgia, and enjoy the environment. With a little more attention to temperature and freshness on the food side, it could easily be a standout. For now, solid 3.5 stars.

Solid 3.5 stars! The restaurant has several 80s arcade games on FreePlay, and several 80s and early 90s magazines to read while you wait for the food. 80s decor all around the room. The smash style burgers come on a toasted potato bun with a variety of different fry or onion ring sides. The restaurant was clean enough, but could have been cleaner. A little bit noisy. The food was good, though the fries came out, barely warm. Overall, not a disappointing experience, but has some room to improve.

The atmosphere is expected, but what is a welcome surprise is that the food is phenomenal! I had the Kong burger and I don’t normally like smash burgers, but it was phenomenal. The sweet potato waffle cut fries were well seasoned and delicious and my three-year-old had fun, smashing the buttons on the free arcade games and I got to enjoy a healthy dose of nostalgia as an elder millennial! No matter the generation, you’re a part of this is a fun and delicious place to enjoy a meal with family and friends!

What a FUN place. Burgers were great & flavorful. We loved that the games were free to play – we ate then had some fun being young. Such a cool little joint

Loved the decor, and my kids and I enjoyed the multiple arcades that we could play for free. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The smash burgers were very tasty, and I recommend the chili cheese tots as a side. Highly recommend it!

Really cool 80s and 90s video game and pop culture theme. Free arcade games. And the food is really great and reasonably priced.

This is a cute little place with good food and a great place to take the kids. It is in a strip mall in Knoxville. The place has a 80’s gaming vibe. The music is from the 80’s but not the original artists. Some of menu items are named after video game characters. They played anime shows on the TV. The decor was video game character figurines, posters, etc. You place your order at the counter or via the QR code and they bring the food to your table. I had the morning after burger which had bacon and egg on the burger. Very tasty. My husband had the same burger but with a gluten free bun. Tater tots were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They have 7 stand up video games from the 80’s like Asteroids, Centipede, Burger Time, Ms PAC Man, etc. and the games were free!!! It was a little dark in there at some of the tables so just be aware. It is not a very big place so it could be an issue if you have a very big group and there are other diners.

The pricing is just wack for what you get. $19.75 for two thin patties (think Freddy’s) a handful of waffle fries and a soda is absolutely outrageous. Tried this place when they first opened and then today. Won’t be back. You can play their games for free which is nice however I’d rather go to Token and pay to play real games. The ones they have are the all in one machines you can buy on Amazon. Meh mediocre experience at best.

Burgers were way bigger than I expected so they are priced accordingly. Secondly, The Red Dead was delicious.
The theme itself is awesome and all the games are free.
Can’t beat food with free entertainment.

Had the chance to eat here for lunch.
Cook retro place. Where else can you eat a burger and read Nintendo Power for lunch.
Had the little bit burger (4 oz) with Swiss cheese, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and grilled onions. Very yummy and messy! Also had a Barq’s root beer and seasoned waffle fries. The only reason I gave this rating a 4 instead of a 5 was because I had a reaction some time later to the waffle fries perhaps the seasoning. But otherwise was good.
