We went for our anniversary. Bistro Nota did not disappoint. We shared the rosemary bread with cheese, the polenta with shrimp, bacon, and poblano, the short rib sandwhich, and the mac n cheese. Loved the small plate choices and having the option to share. My advice is to make a reservation and go now!

Absolutely incredible presentation of takeout food! In town for my son’s soccer tournament and needed more sustenance than pizza with the team. Ordered carry-out as we left the pizza place and picked up on the way back to our hotel. Food was ready very fast for a Saturday night (30ish minutes) and was incredible! We had the petite tenderloin, short ribs, and the blondie. Everything was wonderful and exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely come back if in the area again. My husband also said the restaurant was adorable and the chefs were very friendly.

Overall good experience.

Things that were good:
Friendly service, nice atmosphere, high quality ingredients.

Things that could be improved:
Most of the food was good, especially the Blondie Dessert. But my Creole pasta had almost no flavor besides salt. I couldn’t taste anything else and was expecting a bit better for a $30 dish. The bread and cheese appetizer was decent but again, way too salty.

I ordered a beer which was decent but kind of flat.

The booths are very small and are not anchored to the ground so when I stood up to leave I accidentally moved the whole booth which had someone on the opposite side of me sliding towards their table.

Again, overall good experience but the finer details matter when you are charging upscale prices.

After work, a couple colleagues and I stopped in to have dinner. I ordered the Hot Mess Express and a Blondie for dessert. The food was good but never felt like I was making a dent in it. Service by Haley was good and efficient. We came right before closing so it wasn’t busy.

We visited for the first time last night and it certainly exceeded our expectations. We frequently stay at a nearby hotel and look for new places to try. I made reservations based on reviews and can say the ones hyping how good it is are spot on. We really liked it. The food, atmosphere, service…all fantastic. We are putting Bistro Nota in the top of our short list of outstanding places to go. You won’t be disappointed.

First time coming here and we will definitely be coming back. The braised short ribs and polenta were the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they take the time to make every dish special. Can’t recommend this place enough! You will not be disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bistro Nota, and I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and thoughtful without ever feeling overbearing. The cozy, inviting atmosphere makes it an easy place to relax and enjoy a great meal—perfect for both a casual night out and a special occasion.

The food truly stands out. Bistro Nota takes familiar comfort dishes and elevates them with fresh ingredients, refined technique, and beautiful presentation. Every plate felt both approachable and thoughtfully crafted. It’s the kind of menu that feels comforting but still surprises you in the best way.

Overall, Bistro Nota is a wonderful gem in Fort Wayne. Excellent service, a charming ambiance, and elevated comfort food that hits all the right notes. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Cajun Pasta was pretty good, nothing exceptional in my opinion. The braised short rib was good, just not much meat in the portion.

Overall we liked it, just not quite the bold flavors we had hoped for.
