Ordered through Uber Eats and my fist bite had a giant bone fragment. I decided to keep trying then bit into a whole bay leave and I tried again and got another bone fragment. I ended up dumping my birria burrito on a plate to comb through it. I stopped trying to take bites after finding 7 bone fragments. The large fragment is sharp and could have seriously injured me if I had swallowed it. Additionally the rice was not fully cooked and crunchy. I’ll never try this place again.

Tacos had barely any meat and cheese waste of money charging 17 dollars knowing that you could get 4 for the same price before now they only give you 3. I will give them credit when it comes to flavor. Extremely disappointing portion for the price. Very sad quesa birria tacos.

Los Patroncitos is hands down one of my new favorite food trucks in Bakersfield. I first tried it back in September and since then I’ve already gone back two more times, which should tell you everything. The food is just outstanding. The Birria is the star here, and the Birria juice for dipping is on another level. I actually take extra home because it’s so good I end up pouring it over chicken I cook myself. It’s seriously addictive.
The truck always looks clean and the whole truck park setup is a cool spot to hang out and eat. I like the vibe—casual, fun, and definitely a good place to bring friends or family. The staff has been chill and friendly every time too, which makes the experience even better.
If I had one small gripe, it would be the to-go packaging. They use styrofoam plates with foil, and sometimes the food ends up a little smashed in the bag. Doesn’t mess with the flavor at all, but I think some better packaging would take things to the next level.
All in all, this place has quickly earned a spot on my regular rotation. Next on my list is trying the Birria Pizza, because it looks amazing. If you’re in Bakersfield and craving legit flavor, Los Patroncitos is absolutely worth the stop.

Charged me $5 for extra meat in my birria ramen when all I asked for was for them to make sure that it had meat because the last time I bought one it didn’t have meat! She said we weight the meat we put in there. THE LIES! How are you going to put already cooked meat on a scale? That’s unsanitary! I used to come here often. Not anymore! There’s a lot of other birrierias in town. I’ll take my money elsewhere. Bye!

I went to this truck yesterday I ordered a burrito with goat meat. It was very mid. The beans had no flavor. The meat had three big bones inside of it almost messed up my teeth & it had a long piece of skin i don’t know what it was but I threw away that burrito . I very upset But the girl that helped me the cashier was very nice so pretty too only pleasant thing about this experience. I appreciated her hospitality other than that the food was not good at all. I saw they were busy so I didn’t go back but you guys really need to take pointers from Birria Garcia on Brundage now they know what they’re doing.

I was really looking forward to trying the best birria tacos in town, but unfortunately, they fell short. The tacos lacked flavor and had very little meat. To make matters worse, my chicken quesadilla was overly cheesy and flavorless, making it hard to even taste the chicken. Overall, the experience wasn’t worth the trip.
