Yall this hidden gem! On our way home wanted to try a place we had not been too. The Cafe de Olla is free and best I’ve had and the food is on point. The menudo is so good and the chorizo with egg place was amazing. We will be back regardless of the distance!!

Birria and barbacoa were both super good. The orchata was fresh and you could definitely taste it. It’s all run by one family and everyone is pitching in and doing their part. Wishing them the best of luck and I will definitely try to come back when in the area. It’s quite a drive for me but if you want really good food definitely give them a shot. We gotta support our local small businesses like this.

It’s very cozy n laid back, almost like when you go visit your tia n tio n Mexico n they are tending to you as their guest … It was an older couple who took our order n served us, it was my husband n I n our 3 boys… my grandson n I shared a plate (nacho fries) but I forgot to take the photo cuz the baby was hungry n I had to cool the food off for him!, n the boys had the quesabirria plates, my husband the bowl of consome and a huge burrito! It was delicious n down home…a hidden treasure… y’all should go n check it out!

Drove all the way from katy, and it did not disappoint! The burrito was absolutely delicious — packed with flavor, tender meat, and perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the quality in every bite. It was our first visit after watching Santea’s video and the food was DELICIOUS! My family and I were very satisfied with the food. I was impressed with the variety of food they have (not just birria). Staff is very friendly too! Don’t get discouraged with all the construction going on in that street, trust me, it is all worth it! We will definitely come back very soon.
