Couple of visits and nothing to disappoint the food is delicious and they have a great selection. Of the four dishes tried there is no complaint. The portions are big even for a hungry person. Lovely flavored food and sauces enhance everything it touches.

The food was good, plates were big and loaded, I liked the appatizer- hubby did not. My enchilada didn’t seem cooked all the way, I left most of it but the rice was good. Hubby had half of his and took the rest home so his was delicious. We were the only ones in restaurant- they had music playing, but when we sat down, they shut it off and had it going in the back room. When we asked for coffee, they only had instant as an option, so we had tea instead – we were left alone for the most part. They did start music up again near end of meal but also put in a soccer game which competed with the music. I think if they were busier it would have been different.

Top shelf tequila available. perfect to up sell margaritas. Too bad no drink menu.
I ordered shredded beef taco, rice, black beans. Plenty of flavor, my rice had a hot pepper mixed in. Beef was authentic. Cojita cheese would be nice on the beans. Average serving size. Blanca is a good person and I look forward to going back. Check this place out. Clean, fantastic TV’s, pet friendly on the patio. No wifi.
10 bucks for lunch minimum. 12.00 house margarita. Beer tap was lacking but something for everyone.

Much better than the old restaurant here. Bacon wrapped shrimp – the shrimp were a little raw/cold center, but a beautiful looking dish. Reasonably priced menu. Full cocktail menu…

I actually heard about this place from a friend so maybe the dine in experience is better. As far as the to-go/delivery experience goes, I’m super disappointed. The food looks almost as bad as it taste, it lacks flavor. I’ve never received mexican food in a styrofoam container and look at these portion sizes. First and last time I eat here. Are people really accepting this?

A different yet very authentic flavor to it they are from Mexico City, and the decor is very nice, the restaurant is very clean. I have to try their tacos and update this later but pretty good.

Blue Taco is my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Mount Vernon. The drinks were spectacular and dinner was flavorful. Price range was reasonable. The ambiance was great! They had a festive DJ playing Banda music.

Hair in our food. Meal completely uncooked. Arroz con pollo. Should have known not to come here so close to 8:00pm when we were the only people at the restaurant. We still wanted to give it a chance. However, under the melted cheese was a pile of plain tomato sauce and chicken chunks , some rice, raw onions and lettuce. Our other plate had A long black hair in it. Ugh. The chips were good; we ate chips as we waited for our food to go. After discovering the uncooked food and funny smelling tomato sauce we threw it all out.

I’ve heard good things about this place so thought we would give it a try. We arrived and was seated promptly. There was one other table the server was working on. He dropped off chips and salsa and asked for our drink order. We ordered drinks and asked for some bean dip for the chips. After the drinks arrived we ordered two appetizers, the Chile poppers and the Mexican pizza and asked for the bean dip again. We waited patiently. The Chile poppers came out and it didn’t have any sauce. The menu said it came with some jelly sauce which is why we ordered them. The Mexican pizza never arrived, however some pico did, but we didn’t order that. We asked again for some bean dip and at that point he brought out more chips as well. The food arrived and still didn’t have the Mexican pizza which was fine we asked for it Togo since we assumed it was already being made. We get the bill and we were charged for things we didn’t order and a Togo fee for the pizza our server forgot. He said he had a crazy Saturday night and they haven’t had a chance to get everything back in and what not. The server didn’t write anything down and was charging us for his mistakes. He knew we ordered something for the chips so he brought out pico. But if he had written it down he would have been able to provide us with everything we’ve asked for. We did tip generously because he was alone, but I don’t think we will be back. Hopefully it was just an off day and good luck to you.
