After a hike to the Hollywood Sign, my friend found a great local business that’s known for their rotisserie chicken. They have outdoor seating by the sidewalk which was full when we arrived at 130 pm but we were promptly seated after a table opened up. I had a salad with added chicken and was surprised by the large portion of chicken breast. Unfortunately I found the chicken a bit dry but the rest of the salad and dressing complemented well. My friend enjoyed the tuna burger and I noticed it had plenty of fixings and looked flavorful. The staff was great in checking in every so often, and I can understand why this place is a local favorite.

We were in the area and pick here to eat. They had happy hour and place was jumping on January Friday night. Love the decor and service. I had happy hour tacos. Very good food and good service. Hollywood kind of locals eat here.

The food and drinks here are bomb. I’m not usually a fried chicken guy, but it’s just about the best I ever had in my life. Their grits and biscuit were authentic southern good. And topped off with a nicely balanced cocktail… can’t wait to come back.

The food was good. It wasn’t good enough to recommend going here based on the food alone but 7 enjoyed what I ordered. The patrons I sat next to were friendly, engaging, and talkative. I do wish they had more beer options on tap to choose from.

Great Sunday brunch time fare – and come on, Hillbilly Bloody Mary? Complete with Slim Jim garnish? What’s not to love? Cubs game on in the background was a nice touch that day, too…

Birds has one thing going for it: the vibe. So much energy, such a great crowd, people gathering and living their best 20-something lives overflowing onto the street in Franklin Village.

I’m from out of state and this place was close to where we are staying. And it did not disappoint! I ordered a BBQ pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, pickles and macaroni and cheese. The BBQ had a nice taste to it, and was not overwhelming with flavor so you get to actually taste the pork. The bun was a perfect golden brown that stayed warm during the meal. The coleslaw was commendable and I saved the Mac n cheese for last. It was modestly portioned and tasted great. The pickles went to my girlfriend. The waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and he was prompt with delivering food and drinks. I hope we stop back again before we leave. Amazing place!

Went with Los Angeles Fun Events for brunch. Cute spot with a Southern look and feel. Everything birds — from the menu to the decor. Rotisserie and fried chicken were great!

Very nice atmosphere, friendly service and amazing food! There’s also a Happy Hour from 3:30 – 6:30, I’m not sure which days, but it includes many drinks and some foods. Definitely recommend.

Always a pleasure, I have been coming here for over 20 years. A great local food/bar that feels like a real old fashioned local food/bar haha. Not many of these left, especially in Los Angeles.
