In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. I have been in at this location every friday morning and the girl who runs the morning shift just amazes me. She is friendly, polite, always smiling, knows her menu, says hello and goodbye and brings the food out. I watch her answer the phone professionally and handle customers and vendors and once even a police episode with something in the parking lot. they take delivery on friday mornings and we watch them come and bring all the food in. the dining room and bathrooms are always clean and the staff is motivated and respectful. we love this location.

I’m a regular customer but tonight at this bills I ordered extra lean slice tin on two orders of #1 poor boys and got one slice thick and order was all chap with a big piece of burn end . This not cool they know it’s to go and by the time we get home it’s to late I think they did this to get rid of the bad meat , this is not cool at all makes you think how many more orders are like this. This particular Bill Millers I frequent quite a bit (I’m like a regular here) because it’s usually close to where I’m working at. They always provide the best service and the best lunches after a hard day of work!

The atmosphere feels amazing and calm. I was greeted by a Beautiful Smile from Gregory, his Customer Service was so Kind, and made my heart smile. Excellent Care and attention to customer, Meal Prepped fast and orderly. Ramos helped us at check out and drinks, His Kind Professional demeanor was awesome and refreshing. The Vance Jackson is closer to me and they always mess something up. We wanted Bill Miller’s and I refuse to go back to that location. I will never be going back this place came through. The food was hot and perfect. I wasn’t missing anything and the Poor Boy plus was actually a plus and lean. Wow, cold drinks and hot food plus being complete. I didn’t have to wait not that I ever hold that against a drive thru visit but was definitely great not too. I will be back 100%

I crept into bills through the back door….My wife was upset that I had lunch without her. She asked why I wasn’t so hungry for dindin…..I felt so guilty eating without my family but then again I enjoyed the peace n quiet. It was a quick bite right after work cause I had skipped lunch. Knowing dinner wouldn’t be ready for another couple hrs I crept into bills through the back door…. This was a day or two before Thanksgiving so they had tables out filled with preorders….the staff is always friendly and the foods usually good. The dining area was clean as well as the parking lot and restrooms. I had a quick bite for lunch then bailed…thanks for the grub. My karma btw was a painful cramp between my chin and my neck that wouldn’t go away as I ate…I tried to take a huge bite from my poor boy and the darn delicious thing gave a cramp that wouldn’t go away…it was there the whole time I ate…karma for eating without the fam…

My first time eating brekfeast @ bill millers. I enjoyed it. Fresh eggs and biscuits. I had a bean and bacon taco, bacon egg & cheese biscuit. My wife had the brekfeast bowl with bacon. I’m for sure coming back.
