An amazing hidden gem in our local area! I had no idea this restaurant was near Milton. We had the buffet with brazilian style beef, Cornish hen, and pork roast…. Very tender and flavorful. It has a small salad bar and refill drinks. We paid as we first came in, small family business with 1 waitress that did it all! Amazing little eatery with a built in bar and coffee shop! I was very impressed with this local business!

Imagine a Country version of a Brazilian restaurant and that’s Bigfoot crossing.

They are fairly enough in the middle of nowhere in Jay, FL so it’s about an Hour drive from Pensacola or 45 minutes away from Milton but worth the drive.

I haven’t eaten anything there yet I didn’t like. The crab claws are a bit on the spicy side but in a good way.

The adult price is $20 for original Buffet or $40 for the Original Buffet plus Crab claws and Kids eat at half the price of adults.

If I had just 1 complaint, it would be they need more parking spots.

You definitely need to put Bigfoot crossing on your list of Restaurants to visit. You won’t regret it.

Pros:
Good variety, friendly service, helpful staff, warm family environment. Top food: catfish, potatoes, grilled pineapple, fried chicken

Cons:
Pork butt was a little dry, bbq was tasty but no heat (options might be available for more heat, maybe ask if you are into bbq with a bite), the cups they give you are flimsy. One split in half when a kiddo tried to put the lid on. My only recommendation would be to invest in higher quality cups.

Came here by word-of-mouth, and we are so grateful for the recommendation!

The outside is decorated in these absolutely insanely awesome wooden sculptures. All for sale! Very affordable price for this quality art!

We got there on a Saturday around 4 pm, and there were only a few other people in the dining area. The place was clean and warm.

There was a good variety of food choices. I would categorize it as “Southern Basics.”” As well as a salad bar. The catfish absolutely rocked. Some of the best fried chicken (only thighs noted) I’ve ever had, as well as a grill that is absolutely delicious. YOU MUST TRY THEIR GRILLED .

They have a little bakery with a lovely array of desserts. Mostly different kinds of cheese cake. But also a lemon cake that is very delicious!! It was dense like a cake pop.

Service was prompt and friendly. Beth, Hayley, and Jewell did an amazing job making us feel right at home. We had a little spill, and they didn’t seem inconvenienced or annoyed like you might see at other places.

What surprised me the most was the cost. This place is crazy affordable for families. Strongly recommend for folks looking for great food at a low cost.

Great restaurant with amazing food that you would not expect to find around this location. From the salad bar to the rotisserie meats and weekend all you can eat crab legs and shrimp, there’s something for everyone. Theres also Starbucks drinks and a small dessert bar. The to go crab leg special has enough food for two people.

Great lil place to stop and eat. They had a menu to order food from or you could opt for their buffet! The food on the buffet was good and fresh.
Also, check out Spider, the wood carver at the corner of the lot. Great guy to talk to. He’s there on the weekends so try to catch him early. He makes fantastic art and some of his creations are for sale!

Wasn’t sure about passing through but I thank God I did this food was amazing. Great suggestions by the cashier and owners were welcoming. Also the wood carver “Spider” in the front has great art and a positive example of the American dream alive. Thank you.

The waitstaff was somewhat attentive, the crab legs had so much old bay seasoning it was too much it covered my hands. Plastic fork and knives, and Styrofoam plates.disappointed in that. The restaurant was abit overly lit, too bright for my liking. Wobbly table. You pay and tip before you eat. For two to get buffet including all you can eat crablegs was $100 including tip. It was over priced that did not meet quality. Won’t go there again. Thanks but no thanks.

Fun casual place to eat. Paper plates and plastic utensils… great buffet, very good salads. Everyone working was very nice and friendly and helpful. Used plates are picked up quickly. Refill on drinks are quickly brought to the table. Large variety of meat on buffet, including steak, shrimp, chicken, chicken wings. Grilled pineapple is a unique treat.

Imagine a country version of a Brazilian restaurant… The meats are perfectly seasoned and slow cooked on giant skewers that they slice it from.

The sides look ordinary but are far from it… The mashed potatoes for example are rich, creamy, and delicious and that’s just one of the sides.

If you go in on Saturday, you can get the normal buffet or they do all you can eat crab claws at a different price than the standard buffet. If you can’t handle spicy though, just stick with the normal buffet. They cook them traditional Cajun style.

They are located pretty much in the middle of nowhere in Jay, FL but worth the drive. Takes my family just over an hour to get there and we keep making that drive every time.

OUTSTANDING! ! You must come experience their food in a quaint country setting.
The staff is amazing as well as the food.
Well worth the drive and you will not be disappointed. Be prepared to come back. We live a 1/2 hour away and made a couple trips already.
You can dine outside as well and enjoy the country setting.
