Really loved the environment and the atmosphere, even at 11am the place was full with people and noise. They offer a diverse selection of dessert, that we lost count. The best halal dessert place till now I’ve seen in USA. Tried their viral teddy chocolate, but it was hard without any hot chocolate syrup. Will try their kinafa next time

Tried Bigdash and overall it was a good experience. I didn’t really like the cream inside the Dubai chocolate ice cream—I was honestly expecting vanilla ice cream instead. That part was a bit disappointing. However, the chocolate ice cream itself was good, and the karak tea was really nice. Overall, it’s a great place for pastries and desserts, definitely worth visiting for that.

Bigdash Ice Cream Pastries offers a delightful escape into a world of exquisite desserts and exceptional service. My recent experience with them was truly noteworthy. Prior to visiting, I called to inquire about their new Dubai chocolate, a highly anticipated treat. The lady who answered the phone was incredibly kind and informed me that they still had it in stock, inviting me to come and enjoy it.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find the store exactly as described. The staff greeted me warmly and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout my visit. The store itself is impeccably clean, with a modern and inviting ambiance that makes it a perfect place to relax and unwind.

The highlight, of course, was the Dubai chocolate–a luxurious and delectable treat that exceeded all expectations. Additionally, I couldn’t resist trying their ice cream, which was arguably some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The rich flavors and creamy textures were simply outstanding.

Bigdash is not just a place for desserts; it’s a cool hangout spot where you can gather with friends and enjoy a variety of sweet delights. The combination of top-quality products, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a five-star destination all the way. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in some of the finest desserts around!

⭐ Honest Review of Bigdash ⭐

I really wanted to like Bigdash, but the ice cream was honestly disappointing . We tried a few flavors, and none of them had that real, authentic ice‑cream taste.

Their kunafa is great and the baklava is okay — nothing extraordinary, just fine. The place is always crowded, probably because not many spots offer similar Middle Eastern desserts.

Last time I tried their cake, it was just fine. But if you’ve ever had true European or French desserts, this place really doesn’t compare .

I also bought the Labubu Dubai chocolate, and it was a total letdown — tasted fake. I can make better “Dubai chocolate” at home .

Overall, Bigdash has a couple of good items, but the ice cream and specialty chocolates really missed the mark for me.

Absolutely fantastic!!!! Chefs kiss. Try any of these ice creams, but I especially loved the pistachio. The Karak tea is out of this world. Smiling, welcoming staff and wonderful environment. Spotlessly clean, and such a wide range of options for any one’s taste or appetite. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

An incredible dessert experience. I flew to Richardson, TX to try the desserts at Big Dash and here are my reviews [Worth every minute of wait].

If you are into textures, ice cream at Big Dash is made with an ice cream maker from Syria, it has a taffy like texture you will not see anywhere. The ingredients within the ice creams are abundant, vibrant, and flavorful – each flavor I tried tasted of the ingredients in them, ingredients for the flavors were adundant within them. I had the Arabic, Cookie Butter, Oreo, Pistachio, and Vanilla flavors.

The Habba cake has a crunchy center, a chocolate top, pistachios, and other ingredients, which are sweet, they have a rich, flavor profile and are a great dessert to try at least once.

I tried several pastries I loved the Pistachio fingers, the Pistachio hareeesa, and the sweet cheese, which is a Syrian dessert worth exploring in my opinion if you never have.

To wrap up the eating experience I had made to order red and brown kinafa. Both cheese desserts, garnished with crushed pistachios, served with a side of simple syrup to ensure it reaches your desired level of sweetness. The red kinafa is crunchy the red cheese is not very sweet but there is soft sweet-cheese underneath which balances the strong unsweetened cheese flavors, the kinafa can be combined with the syrup for a pleasant desired level of sweetness. The brown kinafa is soft, sweet, and served with a simple syrup side also to ensure you reach the right level of sweet [pro tip] use your syrup sparingly to ensure you don’t over-sweeten your kinafa desserts.

Now for coffee lovers, the Turkish Coffee sold at Big Dash is incredible, smooth, rich, not bitter, it has a distinctive flavor in the beans, which I have to assume comes from the soil of Turkey. Please grab a cup to refresh your palate between dessert bites, it is incredible.

In summary, Big Dash is a must try dessert place in this foodie’s opinion! If you are into the Dallas or Richardson, TX area, please stop in.

The restaurant itself has an open seating arrangement there comfortable chairs, the staff are incredibly helpful, it really is a special place.

Great atmosphere, at first time approaching i thought i had to wear something nice but realized coming in that my pajama pants and t shirt were just fine to come in and order take out treats for me and the wife. The treats were presented nicely on display and are very, very sweet. A cup of turkish coffee or a water could blend with that perfectly.

Great atmosphere, great service & really tasty desserts! We tried the Triple Chocolate Pistachio Cream Crepe & Raspberry Mousse if you love chocolate then you’ll absolutely love the crepe. Very rich, they did not skimp on any of the components & honestly it takes at least 2-3 people to finish it. Well worth the price

Everything looks amazing and there are so many pistachio items to choose from. Based on the owners recommendation, we tried the Dubai chocolate cake, it was absolutely delicious with all the different textures. The mango tiramisu was refreshing. Would come back again to try more things.

Bigdash – My Go-To Dessert Spot in Dallas!

I’ve been to Bigdash in Richardson many times, and every visit has been amazing. Their ice cream, cakes, and traditional Arabic desserts are always fresh and full of flavor. I’m always impressed by the quality, everything I’ve tried has been truly delicious!

The service is great too. There’s a lovely staff member originally from Morocco who always made my visits extra special (wish I knew her name!).

I’m moving to Kansas soon, and I’ll really miss this place. Hoping they open a location in KC someday! Highly recommend if you’re in Dallas❤️
