Honestly, we’ve been to many Pizza Ranches around the country. This is easily the worst one of the lot based on multiple visits. The company needs to vet its franchisees better. The building was built for a very small buffet line, and the chicken and other sides are not being kept fresh. The pizza is stocked fairly well. The chicken is not. The service is OK and in fact improved from previous visits. But don’t expect the full Pizza Ranch experience here. It’s more like pizza ranch light. And the credit card surcharge for a franchise restaurant is just unacceptable. Your prices are high enough as it is.

I visited this Pizza Ranch recently, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience. While it is an ‘all you can eat’ buffet, the cleanliness was quite disappointing. The buffet area didn’t look well-maintained, and seeing the kitchen staff (the guys making the pizza) not following clean practices was a big turn-off. Also, the pizza slices are incredibly thin ı had to eat 10-15 slices just to feel full. I love the concept, but the hygiene and food quality definitely need improvement.

Our very first time here. Great selection. They can make a custome pizza free of charge to add to the buffet, the chicken is so tender and juicy! Salad bar was fresh, great desserts. Decent size arcade room. Very friendly staff. Chicken tenders, wings, kids eat free tuesday nights. Great selection of foods other then pizza. We will be back and highly recommend.

Was in the area with my son and stopped here. Definitely a good stop! Was not particularly busy, but food was brought out regularly and tasted good. If you’ve been to another pizza buffet like CiCi’s you have a general idea of what to expect. They also had a small selection of American buffet options, and the fried chicken was unexpectedly VERY good.
Price was a little higher than I would like for an adult (I think $17?) but fell within a fair range, and my three year old was not charged. Pepsi products and hot drinks were included in the price. Overall value was decent.
Staff was friendly and proactive. The gentlemen who cleaned our table asked for a Google review which may explain how they have so many!
They had a little arcade section off to the side. Didn’t check it out as we needed to go home, but may be either a positive or negative depending on whether you want your kids to be playing.

Pizza Ranch in Shorewood never disappoints, but my last visit was on a whole different level thanks to the incredible staff. The food was fresh, the buffet was stocked perfectly, and the restaurant was spotless — but what really stood out were the workers who made the entire experience great.
Isabella, Kendall, and Krish were outstanding. They were friendly, quick, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone had a great time. Isabella was super welcoming the moment I walked in, Kendall checked in multiple times to make sure everything was perfect, and Krish kept the dining area clean and running smoothly the entire night. Their teamwork and positive energy made the visit feel way above the usual buffet experience.
If you’re looking for great food, great atmosphere, and an even better staff, Pizza Ranch Shorewood is the place. Huge shoutout to Isabella, Kendall, and Krish — I love you!

I came here with my school with an empty stomach and it was filled with joy! With this excellent tasting food and adaptive service. I respect the staff for letting a big group of kids still come in an hour before close. Very nice, thanks!

Loved the atmosphere, felt like a classic buffet which was super nostalgic. The food variety was quite surprising as well, I was expecting just Pizza but as well as pizza they had Chicken, fries, Mash Potatoes, and many sweets.
Food was really good, most pizza places are rather bland to me but here it all tasted natural to me, and treated both my taste buds and my stomach quite well.
Staff was super friendly and helpful overall as well, very welcoming environment.
Overall, I will be coming back in the future for more visits due to the great experience.
