I really wanted to give 5 stars, but a few things kept it at 4. The brisket was excellent, but the ribs were dried out and the chicken was so dry it was tough to eat. The sides were all quality, but I do wish they offered fountain drinks with refills instead of only 12oz cans at $1.75 each—after a couple, it adds up quickly. The staff was great, and it might have just been the timing (around 2:30 pm) that affected the moisture of the meats. I’ll definitely give it another try in the future, and I’m hoping for a better outcome so I can update this to a 5-star review.

Was great to see my cousins at the BIG8. In this picture, all that was left was the peach cobbler & a few take home boxes. I love that the BIG8 specializes in SMOKED dishes. I can’t remember what everyone else had, but I had smoked Pastrami, smoked Brisket, smoked potato salad, & spicy smoked collard greens! Can’t wait to go back with more friends & family and try a few other smoked things on the menu. I forgot to tell everybody but they also have a smoked drink there! I don’t know how I missed that.
I would love it if they put smoked German beer on the menu as a specialty item.

We eat a lot of BBQ and I’m always looking for the places that bring “home” to my mouth! We went for dinner on a Sunday and I knew I would be reviewing them so we ordered big. We had the pick 2 meal and ordered cocktails. It was delicious. They make their own sauces, we thought all the meat was cooked to perfection. The Cole slaw was delicious. Our waitress (Cassidy) was great too! Definitely recommend!

Seated immediately, pretty empty. Great drinks, Big8 Pain Killer & a Blue Lagoon ,great small plates too, Tornado Bites and Bar Kebobs were excellent, all meat tender and SO tasty! We got a promotion, buy a drink and a small plate it’s half price for each!
Met with the manager, very friendly. He checked in with us.
Great service, Hailey was very good.

I can not say enough about the food. The best greens I’ve ever had, but for me the true star is the Tornado appetizer. The service has been great the four times we’ve been there and the owner was eager to chat with us. It was a little sweet for me, but you definitely need to try the old fashioned.

We visited this amazing BBQ restaurant, a diamond in the rough! We experienced amazing sampler platters of meat and sides, drinks and desserts and each one was delicious! The owners and staff were all kind and courteous. The owners spent some time at our table to make sure everything was good and that we were getting full! It was clean with a comfortable vibe! You can tell they absolutely love what they do! We will definitely be going back, will refer them to all of our Florida family and friends, and will go to them for any catering needs!

I tried the brisket, pork, and chicken kebabs, and each one was incredible. They were so generous that I could only finish one on the spot and happily enjoyed the other for lunch the next day.
The garlic mac and cheese deserves its own spotlight. It’s the only kind I truly like, and Big 8 nails it with rich, garlicky goodness that pairs perfectly with the smoked meats.
