La Lanterna in Sorrento offers tasty food with generous portion sizes. One main dish per person is more than enough for a satisfying meal. Considering the portions, the prices feel reasonable and fair.
There is a seating charge of around 6 euros per table, which is worth noting. The limoncello was enjoyable, though the alcohol content felt a bit strong for my personal taste.
The interior atmosphere is simple rather than fancy, but comfortable. The restroom was exceptionally clean, which added to the overall positive impression. Overall, La Lanterna is a solid choice for a relaxed and satisfying meal in Sorrento.

Decent place in the heart of Sorrento- but nothing exceptional. We had a Rez, and were seated right away.
They provide a couple of bread plates; one with tomato right when you sit which is nice. They have good wine selection and claim to have homemade pasta.
The pasta dishes we had were a little too salty, and the lasagna was a little dry and a little burned on top.
A nice treat at the end of the meal was a small shot of lemon cello in a frozen glass.
They were very pushy about leaving a cash tip when we paid, even though they included the standard service charge in the bill.

Amazing family owned restaurant. A local man recommended for us to come here and eat. We ordered two pasta dishes, bolognese and pappardelle – 10/10 some of the best pastas I’ve had here in the south of Italy.

Cute atmosphere. Helpful servers and AMAZING food. The lemon catch of the day fish is so light and well seasoned. The pizza dough has such good flavour and the sauce is so fresh. We also had the burrata, octopus, and misto. All was so good! Highly recommend!

It was such an awesome experience. The waiters were all super kind, helpful and caring and always made sure that we felt welcome (especially Roberto and Jakob;)). And the food was absolutely delicious!! I‘ve never had such a good seafood risotto, pasta or pizza. Everything we had was honestly amazing!! So I can recommend this restaurant totally!! It‘s worth a visit!

Had a lovely early lunch here! The restaurant was mostly empty because we went around 12.30pm. We sat in the alleyway and the music created the perfect atmosphere. The staff was very kind and our food came very quickly quickly. We had the pasta of the day (which was made with fresh lobster for around 30€, very reasonable price!) and the Neapolitan lasagna. Both dishes were very good and we had a Neapolitan Baba for dessert which was amazing. We paid just under 80€ for 2 mains, a dessert and 2 non-alcoholic drinks. The portion sizes were really good, highly recommend!
