We’ve been in twice and both times our food has been fresh, hot, and exactly what we wanted. My chefs salad was perfect. I called ahead and picked up food on the way by, which was very convenient.
The owner was friendly and gave us tips on places to visit and seems happy to interact with customers.

Loved it!
Classic B&B- burger and beer. Very good! The meat was very tasty and juicy. The fries were good too.

Bring your own napkins. Apparently those aren’t considered needed here. Don’t expect service beyond your initial ordering and food delivery. Bring a flare gun to try and get the server’s attention

We stopped in to have some lunch on our way back home to Moscow. It was a cool little place with friendly service and some delicious food. We’ll be coming back.

Excellent service, quality food. You won’t find better in this area. The family that took over a couple years back have done a tremendous job with it. You will not be disappointed

We really enjoyed our experience at the Big Timber! We’d visited previously, when it was under a different owner and different name and swore we’d never go back. However, with new ownership we’d been hearing things were much improved so we decided to try again. What a pleasant surprise! The new owners are so friendly and welcoming! The food is good, and comparable to what you get at most places around here, but with slightly better prices. (Kids meals are only $3.95-4.95!) The inside has been cleaned up and is much brighter than before, and there’s even a small convenience store with reasonable prices! What a great improvement; we’ll definitely be back!

We decided to stop and grab a quick meal at a nearby restaurant. Pizza was meh, overpriced at $9 for a personal cheese pizza that had nothing to it. I ordered a club, it was OK. Nothing special, but not bad, until my last couple bites tasted a little rotten. I thought it was the tomato and took the rest out, and still tasted kind of moldy/rotten and I spit it out. I had eaten nearly everything at that point and when we went to check out, I kindly mentioned my experience and said, “Just fyi, you may want to check the bread because mine may have had a little mold on it.” I wasn’t asking or expecting anything, I was just trying to be helpful for future customers. The woman checking us out snapped at me and sternly said, “The bread’s not moldy.” I said, “It’s possible it was the tomatoes,” and she argued again and said, “We get fresh produce every week.” That experience left a literally and figuratively gross taste in my mouth. I don’t understand the need to be so defensive and incredibly rude to a customer, especially in a situation like this. There’s lots of other small family owned restaurants, and in my opinion this one doesn’t deserve the patronage.

We liked it here. It was a little odd, because the owner lady was a little rude, but I don’t think she meant to be that way. It kind of just seemed like her personality. The food was good though, and we would come back. This place is a good stop on the way back from skiing at the Palouse Divide.
