Since moving to Kenosha, Big Star drive-in has been one of my new favorite additions to my diet. Only open March 1st to August 31st, I need a petition to keep it open at least until October 31st. The double cheeseburger is one of my favorites I have ever had. It’s small, but packs a punch in flavor. One bite and you are loaded with some melty cheese, two seasoned patties, ketchup and tiny pieces of onion. The cheese curds are so good too. Their root beer is delicious and refreshing. Hubby gets the fish fry which was crispy and delicious. Comes with fries and coleslaw which he enjoys. I also occasionally get a chocolate malt which always soothes my malt cravings.
Prices are cheap. They only take cash and the waitresses are always super sweet. I come at least once a month.

Great location to experience a blast from the past. The customer service is great, and they are pretty fast on the delivery of the food. Car trays are cute and make for a quick bite. There is plenty of parking and they have a small amount of outdoor seats. Big Star Drive-in is open seasonally, but this location seems to draw a crowd. Food was pretty good and the prices were awesome. Great Kenosha local spot.

Very large drive in!! Many food choices We loved eating here today and the weather was perfect.The drive in is cash only but inside they have a ATM.I always wanted to come here and today I finally did!! We loved it!

This is a great idea to be able to stay in your car and eat, but the food needs an upgrade in quality. I gave three stars for atmosphere. Only because it’s a parking lot. So it’s not that exciting. The servers were friendly and service was fast and they do make a very good root beer. I just like my hamburgers to be a little bit more substantial, and my fries to not taste like they were from some frozen package at the local store.

I live in milwaukee but stumbled upon this place by far one of my favorite spots to stop, and the new sign is awesome. This is a gem, not so hidden if uou live in kenosha.

Local favorite. Been coming here since I was born with my Father, it holds seriously fond memories for me. Their food taste just as good through all these years. Even thought the servers are running around nuts, through super cold or hot weather, they are always kinds and quick. I’m definitely team Big Star over the Spot. If you know, you know.

The burgers are the best here! So deliciously cheesy. I love the crinkle cut fries. I’ve been coming here for 30+ years and it hasn’t changed in taste. Rootbeer is my favorite beverage here. Try a double cheeseburger, it’s my go-to. The ham and cheese is also another great option. Hands down my favorite drive-in!
