PLEASE ENTER OUR PARKING AREA AT 5694 CASCADE RD, LAKE PLACID Opened in June 2016, we feature a hybrid 3.5/5 barrel brew-house, right in the center of our space, which also features a concrete-topped bar, a comfortable dining room, a beautiful (dog-friendly) patio, and a semi-open kitchen. We offer 10 house beers on tap, with a wide variety of styles. Our chefs source most of our ingredients locally, and offers the freshest food in the area. This is not your typical pub grub, but it is approachable and delicious. Our menu features snacks, salads, sandwiches, brick-oven pizzas and delicious entrees. Many items on our menu are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free for those with special dietary needs.

This establishment is a little outside of town with great friendly atmosphere. Indoor dining & outdoor dining (try to reserve was full when we arrived at 1:30 pm), so we opted for highboy table by the window instead. Our waitress was super friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu & attentive. Her name escapes me but she deserves a kudos( she’s from Belgrade). Our food arrived quickly & was terrific. My summer salad was cold, crust & delish. The fries that came with the fried chicken were superb! Lightly salted, crisp & cooked to perfection. Not sure how the chef did the fries but they were greaseless. No complaints from anyone.

No complaints at all! The beer was cold (as was the wine) and the food was quite good. We tried the “Boomer” pizza as well as “the burger”. During busy times the wait for a pizza is a little longer than usual but it’s totally worth waiting for. The burger was cooked perfectly and the onion/bacon jam was a nice complement to the burger.
I would definitely want to come here in the evening and take advantage of sitting outside in the Adirondack chairs by the fire (not seen in any photos).

The meals ( we had burgers and pizza)were fantastic, and the selection of beers and ciders was impressive. The meals were hearty, and the atmosphere, along with the staff, was super welcoming and cool.

Big Slide Brewery surpassed every expectation. The industrial chic design and peek at the brewing tanks created a vibrant yet cozy backdrop. Their beer selection offered something for everyone from crisp, fruit forward options to bold IPAs and porters.
The real stars were the food. The buffalo style wings with Serrano oil were explosively flavorful and honestly the one best wing sauce I’ve ever had (and I lived in Buffalo). The birria pizza was rich, cheesy, and packed full of savory goodness. The cider was light, refreshing, and the perfect match with the hearty dishes.
Friendly service, excellent atmosphere, and creative food made this a standout spot. I cannot wait to come back.

5.16.25 we loved our drinks and the vibe here, but we just didn’t luck out with our dinner. Maybe it was just our bad luck that our wings were undercooked (not fried enough), and the pizza was extra greasy. But that happens sometimes. This place was busy, and it seems like the locals love it too. There’s indoor and outdoor dining and a bar, so if you’re not into beer, you have many other options.

To be completely honest LPB was not our first choice that evening. We are so glad our plans changed!!! Always a favorite of ours in Lake Placid the brewery came through with flying colors!!! The food was delicious!! Beer.. Amazing as always!! Service was perfect!!! Never change!!!

This place is incredible!!! So much space, employees are hustling hard to serve you all with a smile on their face!! I came here with a party of 6, we were sat immediately. Our server Iz was very personable and accommodating. Our flights of beer were delicious and our food not only had a lovely presentation, but was incredible! Will absolutely be back!!

The restaurant has a waitlist and took about 40-45 mins to get a table on a Friday summer evening. Wheat Dreams was a refreshing pour. White and black bean falafel was amazing. The place is busy and they took about 30 minutes to get the food to the table after order. Overall a good experience.
