We ordered a variety of seafood items for take out for a party of 7. When ordering, they were out of a lot of menu items, forcing alternative meal choices. We were given 1 bag and told it was our order, only to get back and realize that we were missing another bag with the rest of the order, and called. They “then” found the 2nd bag and upon return, we realized still they left 1 entree out. items. I had previously searched hard for a great place with great ratings, and am highly disappointed in the Big Fish Seafood Market. All we got was “we’re sorry” – no discount or write-off for their mistake. NOTHING but aggravation, family not eating together, and regret for wasting our money!

Bought a greek salad with shrimp and fried calamari. Tipped 25% at the counter. Had to wait 15-20 minutes so we waited on the patio right in front of the doors. Was then given the wrong order. Once I received the correct order was then told we couldn’t sit there and had to leave because it was for “table service”. Absolutely ludicrous behavior and awful customer service. Food was okay but won’t be going back to the market or restaurant. Lots of better options, with better food and without the nonsense.

This is my go to restaurant when I’m in the area. I have tried many restaurants… asides from the high prices, food was not good. This seafood market has cooked meals and they all are pretty good. It’s convenient to pick up other items along with uncooked seafood and sides to prepare meals at home. Since my hotel room only has a mini fridge, I need my food cooked and in smaller portion. I didn’t feel like having a real meal today, and ordered the pumpkin lump crab bisque which was $9 because of the lump crabmeat. Unfortunately there wasn’t a lot if lump crabmeat, and the meat was in small pieces. I was thinking “Jumbo” Lump Crabmeat, that’s not the case. It tasted good and I wish there was more crabmeat though. The cream of seafood was delicious, too. I wanted a small portion of Mac and cheese but have no way to heat it up. With my pups in the car, I didn’t want to wait. The lady was so nice and found one already heated up. Unfortunately, the crust was very hard and it was cooler than warm, but at least I got some Mac and cheese, not going to complain too much . I ad to add some salt to the Mac and cheese. I also got a peanut butter pie. Parking is usually real bad because of the restaurant next door. There are about 4 curbside pick up parking spaces. Recommend ordering online and do curbside pickup.

They have a lot selection (unless you go on Sunday when they don’t get deliveries) and I thought the pricing was really fair. I would recommend them for fresh seafood.

We love the Big Fish Seafood Market. We’ve been coming here for years to pick up both fresh seafood and some of their pre-prepared dishes. Some of our favorites include the crab cakes and the scallops and pretty much any of the fresh fish they have in the window. They typically have tuna, salmon, sometimes sushi grade tun and some kind of crab. We’re big fans of Nevas potatoes which are cheesy and perfect as a side dish. We also really like their creamed spinach. They often won’t have this for lunch but if you don’t see it ask and they may be able to give you some to go that’s cold that you can easily heat up later. In the back is a section for chips and crackers and pasta and olive oil. It’s a pretty small space but they have a ton of things to choose from including cheese! If you want to make some fresh seafood at home, this is the place to go.

We dropped in for a quick lunch, standard fare all round. Their steamed clams were on the small size. The jumbo fried shrimp serviceable. A properly cooked halibut was the stand out dish. But it’s puzzling accompaniments; a indistinguishable mango/melon/pineapple fruit cup, a cup of green and black olives with some sort of cheese & salami, and a cup of corn, onions and tomato pieces, did not pair well with the nicely done halibut.
