I never knew I would enjoy Indian food this much!!
There are so many new options around but I think this is my new favorite dinner spot. The food is deeply flavorful and the portions are generous. With so much variety on the menu, I was extremely grateful for the help the owner offered while ordering. Such kind people and such tasty foods!
I ordered the Lamb Kadai with Garlic Naan and split it with a friend. They also have the hard to find “Thumbs Up” cola from India!

This is our 1st experience eating Indian food.
We had the Lamb Seekh Kabab as an appetizer and it was delicious. Our main course was Butter Masaia Non Vegetarian Chicken and Hakka Noodles and the Garlic Naan bread.
Everything was great and we were extremely impressed because we have never eaten Indian food before.
We drove from Albany and I think this is going to be a regular trip for us and bring our family and friends.

Place is spacious and clean. Food took a minute to come out BUT it was hot and flavorful. My husband had lamb dum ka American spin y. The lamb was tender the gravy/sauce was delicious. I had the shrimp kadai Mexican spicy. It was too spicy but it was so delicious I could t stop eating. The portion size is ample. We both left with enough for another meal. Oh and we tried veg and chicken samosa that we enjoyed and garlic naan. They have plenty of vegetarian and even vegan options plus shrimp and fish.

Everything about this place was outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Every dish we tried was delicious, and you can truly tell it’s made with care and high-quality ingredients. Portions were generous, presentation was beautiful, and the aromas alone were enough to make you hungry. This is hands-down one of the best Indian meals I’ve had. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this restaurant to everyone we know!

Persis is really a best kept secret here in Moultrie! We had the Ckicken Tikka appetizer and it was served sizzling from the tandoori oven with a cloud of steam that makes you mouth water from the aroma. I grew up in Florida and have had Jamaican and Indian food for years. I can honestly say Persis is in the top 3, and I’m still surprised to find Indian cuisine this good outside of a big city. The portion size were very generous (my entree was enough for dinner and lunch) and the chef did a phenomenal job keeping the spice level down while maintaining that authentic and unique flavor Indian food is known for. The tamarind sauce is made fresh and is so tangy that I wish they sold it by the bottle. My curry lamb had big cuts of tender, flavorful lamb that was enhanced by the coconut milk they use in the curry sauce. Nothing was overpowering, there was a real balance between all the flavors that was really well done. I’m so happy to have such great food at a great price so close to home. I definitely recommend trying them for dinner or on your day off, because you will definitely need a nap when you’re finished! If you like Indian food, Jamaican food, or want to try something different, you need o give Persis a try.

This was by far one of, if not the, most delicious meals I’ve ever eaten in all my days. This is wonderful food and wonderful service, absolutely friendly and welcoming. One thing that people need to know is they cook this food to order, and this food is extremely complex with flavors. It’s a greatly simple dish but it takes time. If you can’t wait for amazing food, by all means drive throughs are a thing. If you are ok with waiting a bit for fantastic food, please come try this out.

We were both happy with our meal, except there was far too much food. I think restaurants in general serve too much food that means a take home box.
When I asked about the heat level of the curry, our server said there were six levels. Wow! That was new to me. I chose 3 and my husband chose 1. I enoyed my lamb curry, but when we go back, I may opt for a level 2 in hot spice. I guess we are wimps when it comes to hot peppers.
We have eaten Indian food several times before. Some better than others. This small place in Mourtrie may be the best of the lot.
The lamb and the chicken were both fork tender. The naan was delicious. I definitely give this restaurant five stars. I look forward to going back and trying one of the biryani dishes.
The inside is not glamorous, but it is clean. It is just fine for lunch.
