I got shrimp etouffee that costs total of $14.07 for my first time. I really like the flavor. But I believe it is either way overpriced or wrong portion size. It’s literally just half container of the plain rice (16oz. container) then half container of the soup and little amount of chopped overcooked shrimp. I would pay for $7 for this but since the flavor was nice, I’ll give them a try to other dishes.

Ok should have took pictures but the food was delicious. We got the combo meal for a family of 3.
First off just talking with the owner was a great experience. You can tell he cares asked me to give any feedback and what we thought so he can continue to improve. That’s an amazing quality in itself. Very nice, clearly cares about his wife as he spoke highly of her too!
All three of us were very pleased with the food and the portion size. It’s not very often you can feed a family of 3 for under $35!!!
The boudin balls and red beans and rice were my favorite, my wife’s favorite was the Seafood Étouffée, and my daughters was the red beans and rice and chicken and sausage gumbo.
We will be back.

Wow, this place surprised my crew and I. Treated them for lunch and everyone was blown away how good everything was, especially the boudin balls. The gumbo was the best I’ve had in Central Texas, my uncle was a shrimper on the Gulf Coast and his was always the best in my book, but Big Daddy Jays really impressed me. Highly recommended!!!

I am no expert on creole food but I really enjoyed this! I had the shrimp etouffee with 2 boudin balls for lunch. The shrimp was flavorful with a nice amount of spice and boudin were delicious with a nice mix of meat and rice. The mustard dipping sauce is perfect with them.
8 ounces of etouffee and rice along with two boudin balls made for large lunch and you can’t beat the price.

Saw crawfish etoufee and jumped right on it. Went ahead and tasted before adding S&P, and was thankful I did, nothing extra needed. Extremely tasty and satisfying.
