I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so.
Ordered two pizzas, garlic knots and a salad from Slice Life for delivery. It took nearly two hours from order to delivery. That is honestly fine if there weren’t other issues. Food arrived slightly warm. It looks like half the order was dropped. A large portion of the salad toppings ended outside the container and stayed in the plastic bag. The container of marinara sauce with the garlic knots blew open so the knots were all soggy by the time we got them. I ordered a Chicago style thin crust well done and the bottom of the pizza was no where near crunchy. It was more like square cut NY style foldable pizza. Being a Chicago native, I was expecting something decently close, it wasn’t.
Do yourself a favor, take your business elsewhere.

The service was amazing. Very quick willing to accommodate special asks for a pizza and extremely fast with making the pizza. I cant remember the young Mans name who took my order but he also mad my pie and its had got to be in my top 5 pizzas I’ve had in recent memory. Nice doughy texture with a glue like cheese and perfectly crisped pepperoni. Great pizza great service. Only downside was the sound from the claw machine but to be fair i did choose to sit right next to it so that ones in me. 9.2/10

Ordered at this location a couple of times now. The thing that bothers me is they don’t man the front of the store consistently. Seems to cause a disconnect in the ordering process. Different employees popping out of the back and asking “Now who are you”? “Has someone helped you?” “What did you have?” Both times I’ve been there the pizza ends up sitting in the back and getting cold before it’s brought out. Seems like they try hard enough, just a bad setup.

Great pizzas! Ordered 2 delivered, one Hudson and one Coney Island. Both very good, toppings were on the money, fresh and cooked perfectly. Order was delivered on time, delivery driver was friendly and efficient… would definitely order again!!!

I ordered from Big City here in Lexington, KY (the Chinoe Rd location) using their website. Ordered at 4:19pm and got a text saying pizza would be here by 5:02pm. It got to 5:30 and hadn’t heard anything so I called. An employee told me they were backed up, couldn’t give me an ETA at all. I asked about a refund, they told me it would take a week. So I was in the middle of telling them I’d just wait on the pizza but I wasn’t sure I would order again from that location and they hung up on me mid-sentence. I called back and spoke to a manager to find out my food wasn’t even out of the oven yet, now 5:35pm. I told them I didn’t appreciate their employee hanging up on me. The manager apologized but by their tone didn’t seem too upset and didn’t offer any discount or compensation for a vastly late order. They use door dash and the dasher just was able to pick up my order at 5:52pm so the order will be about 1.5 hours late now. I probably won’t order from the Lexington, KY Chinoe Rd location anymore because of this which is a shame because I used to order every weekend to every other weekend. And the other location doesn’t deliver here now so that employee may have costed the business a frequent customer. I understanding being stressed out, busy, and that everything kind of sucks right now but don’t be rude to your customers and if stuff happens to vastly delay and order at least discount it.

The staff is always swift and nice when I come in. They seem to be very organized. I love the atmosphere of the pizzeria. It has its own unique vibe. Ive only ever ordered out. I’m very picky about my pizza preferences so this place is very dear to me. Their pizza is spot on every time. I highly recommend giving it a try! I don’t go anywhere else for my pizza!

Great pizza at a nice clean spot. Restaurant is brand new and very clean. Place to eat inside and out. Tables in the shade during the day. The owner is a nice guy as well, came out and said a few words and talked about his pizza- clearly takes pride in his own restaurant. I would come here again, and would recommend it to everyone as well.

Oct 2024- first review with photos was 4 years ago. In those four years the quality of this pizza has declined drastically. We ordered three pizzas and boneless “wings” last night. The pizzas were all so so dry and tasted just cheap like gas station pizza. The boneless wings are disgusting, with meat similar to mcD nuggets, that chicken paste, very mushy and the breading is half as thick as the chicken, but without the crunch of mcD.. The Mac and cheese wedges are also gross, you can tell they come frozen from a box! Now listen, where credit is due is the services they’re very nice people and I hate to give the business a harsh critique but I’m sick of these restaurants lowering the quality of their food and keeping prices the same. They may say they haven’t changed anything in the past 4 years but they absolutely have and if I’m going to eat trash, I’ll just go to Dominos

Grandaddy Landscape
Pick up was quick and easy and the pizza tastes great! Seems to be just mozzarella cheese instead of a weird blend which is much appreciated, tastes quite good.
