Exceptional service and taste. The patties are some of the best tasting beefs I have ever had.

The cooks accommodated our request even after we received our order…

I ordered the veggie burger with sauteed mushrooms and onions and ordered bacon and mayo. No bacon. And the veggie burger literally fell apart as soon as I touched it. Had to eat with fork and knife. It tasted bland, but since I hadn’t eaten at all during the day, I ate it all because I was hungry. The fries tasted great. The mexicante cola tasted great.

Big Buns is a place I want to love without hesitation—and after probably a dozen visits, I can confidently say it’s a mixed bag of real strengths paired with one very consistent frustration.

Let’s start with what they do well, because there’s plenty. The food is genuinely good. The grilled chicken is deliciously flavored, juicy, and reliably satisfying, and the fries are always a solid win—hot, crisp, and exactly what you hope for when you order them. Add in their excellent beverage choices and you’ve got the foundation of a great casual meal. The fun, brightly colored décor gives the space a playful, upbeat vibe, and the outdoor seating is a huge plus, especially on nice days. It’s also very family-friendly, and I genuinely appreciate that they offer coloring pages for kids—it’s a small touch that makes a big difference when dining with little ones.

However, the service is where the experience consistently falls short. After many visits, it’s not a one-off or an off day: the service is slow every single time. It’s also very clear that to-go orders are prioritized over dine-in guests, which can be frustrating when you’re sitting at a table watching food go out the door while you wait. On our most recent visit, waiting 20 minutes for ice cream—only for it to arrive without the sprinkles—was especially disappointing.

Big Buns has all the makings of a standout neighborhood spot: tasty food, a fun atmosphere, and thoughtful family-friendly details. If they could improve the pace of service and give dine-in customers the same attention as takeout orders, it would make a world of difference. As it stands, I’ll keep coming back for the food—but I do so knowing patience is part of the experience.

The fries looked like they were scraped from the bottom of the bag—most were 1/2 in. The burger had a soggy, falling-apart bun that didn’t hold up, definitely not a big bun! Overpriced for the quality. The sauces were tasty, but the meal should cost $5-7 less. The cook needs to improve consistency, aiming for medium-well rather than rare.

We noticed that we haven’t been here! So we decided to give it a try! As it’s our usual Saturday Restaurants eat-check- review !
We ordered from screen online ordering as there was a not a long line.
We ordered 2 classic burgers
One grilled chicken and one popcorn burger
Anyhow
The kids like the burger and rate it 8 out of 10!
My burger I think it was usual! Nothing specially about it ! At least I will not drive just to have it ! That’s me!
The service was good- the manager I think was very helpful and trying to clean and be around and asking ! Which is a good positive thing !
I would recommend to have some music- it will be nice and some plastic silver wear !
Add some hot souse and Mayo on the side so anyone can use !
It was good and recommended for a burger !

We had a fantastic experience at this burger joint—Dave was super friendly and helpful with our order, and Wilmber the manager made sure everything was perfect. The fried chicken sandwich looked crispy and amazing, the fries skinny with Cajun seasoning, and the horseradish burger cooked medium rare was juicy, full of flavor with just the right kick. Even the kids’ cheeseburger was a generous size and delicious. Great service and great food—highly recommend!

Great burgers! Delicious milkshakes. Super friendly staff and a nice clean location. $17 burgers, fry, and drink but definitely worth it. Been going for a while and will continue to go back. Highly recommend!

Burgers tasted great and were filling. My favorite would have to be the 9 year anniversary burger. There’s something about the bacon and cheddar! The oreo milkshake were also extremely creamy. It was thick but tasted so good. Also having the milkshake thick helps prevent the drink from melting too quickly. I’ve also tried the oreo milkshake with the booze of irisih cream. It blends really well all together. And as for the root beer float booze, it was alright, i would rather get and try other boozy drinks. I like root beer so I thought of giving their boozy root beer a shot, and never again lol. There is also this one cool guy in there. He seems to enjoy his work well and knows how to greet customers with his own energy. If he’s there, you’ll see what I mean. But yes, with all considered, this place is worth a try if you like burgers milk shake and or even boozy drinks!

$55 is pretty pricey for 2 combo meals but I really wanted access to their big succulent buns. Food was eh, service was A+.
