I ordered to 2 meat plate with BBQ beans and mashed potatoes. I liked the brisket, tender and juicy. I thought the portions were small, but I was full for 2 hours after. Room to park a bobtail. Posted no truck parking on street, but there’s a spot or two for semi’s to run in. Oh and there’s also a drive thru…..

Enjoyed my first visit here. The hot link was just the right amount of spicy, the sauces were all good, the coleslaw was good too. The standout was the onion rings, they were crispy and delicious. The letdown was the burnt ends, there was definitely plenty but ends are usually somewhat fatty melt in your mouth pieces and several of my serving seemed to be slices of thick dried out brisket. Even with the small complaint I’ll definitely give this place another try.

Drive thru. Rated atmosphere low because it was raining and they don’t have any overhangs to prevent your car from getting wet. Good BBQ. Sampler has a lot of food!!! Really liked their BBQ Spaghetti!!

Great BBQ place, we were just passing through & seen this place while getting gas across the street. So we decided to go have some BBQ & glad we did! We got there about 15 minutes before they closed & the people were still super nice & friendly. And the BBQ was Awesome! The meat was nice & lean and the mac & cheese was so yummy, looked & tasted like it was just made, not dry like some bbq places, especially since they were about to close. We had a great experience, thank you Big Ben’s BBQ!!

AWESOME FOOD! I personally love the pulled pork, cheesy, and cole slaw. The dining room is decked out with great decor. I have also catered food from Ben’s on multiple occasions. Everyone loved it! They even provide all the serving utensils for you. It’s a win-win for a big group of big eaters!

I’ve had burnt ends, ribeye sandwich, chopped brisket, hamburger, ribs, smoked chicken breast, and loaded baked potato here. All have been excellent. I can’t recommend the fries enough. Best fries I’ve ever had (by far) as well as everyone I’ve ever brought in here with me. You’ve never had any like these! The drive-through has always moved along at a fair pace, considering the quality of the food. Inside and out, the decor is very nice and any time I’ve had to use their rest room, it’s been clean. If there’s anything negative at all to say, it’s that I find the hard wood bench seats uncomfortable, but they certainly wouldn’t deter me from eating here. I’m so glad Big Ben’s calls Carthage home!

I choose Big Ben’s to seek shelter from the storm. The young woman at the counter was very nice and helpful with the menu. The pulled pork was wonderful with delicious green beans. I didn’t care for the mashed potatoes they tasted like they might be instant. All in all a nice restaurant with good food.

I had the pork tenderloin and onion rings. The sandwich was good but the onion rings were to salty and very greasy. Neither one of us could eat them.. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich and sidewinder fries. His meal was good.

We have been here twice now and the place is fantastic. Couldn’t figure out what to do for my birthday and we decided to come back here to eat. Looking at the menu it does seem a bit pricey but for the amount of food you get and the quality of food it’s a fair price and for three people to eat plus a large appetizer for the table it was under $60. My only real complaint is that they will not take your order at the tables you have to go to the front to place your order which is frustrating when you have somebody with you that has a disability and should not be standing on their feet when unnecessary. They will bring your food to you once it’s ready but like I said you must put the order in at the counter and fill your own drink. I will not tip here because I’m really not getting any service in my opinion but I still really like the food and the price for the quality that you are getting

This place has the best BBQ ever! We travel full time and I usually write 1-2 reviews a year saving the reviews for only the best. This one did it for us. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the out door dining. They even gave us a small bowl for our dog for water.
