Okay. Good not great. Understaffed so service was slow and grumpy. Food was okay. Atmosphere was pleasant as I like divey bars. Place was hopping and people seemed happy so my experience may have been different with a full crew working. I think my favorite thing was the cozy and tightly packed feeling inside.

Cheeseburger and fries were very good. Service not friendly didn’t come back to the table to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. Took her time coming to the table. Not busy at this point only a few people in the place. Nice bar.

I’ve been going to Champs for 40 plus years . I’ve always gotten there 1/3# burger – chips – and a pickle spear. Went today ,ordered as usual. Got my order with sliced pickles. Asked where was the spear and was told I said everything so no spear – got sliced and was charged for the slices – asked waitress and was told that’s the way it is!

We met some friends for dinner. My husband was in the mood for bar food. Everyone but me had a burger and they all thought they were pretty good. I had chicken strips and they were ok. Really couldn’t tell the difference between the fries and the chicken tenders. We had cowboy bites first and they were awesome. Friends had the southwestern eggrolls and we loved them too. Service is super slow but she was very friendly. I’m thinking it’s probably a good place to go for lunch.

Horrible behavior from the waitresses
, we came in with 11 people kindly asking for the best way to seat all of us and the waitress had a terrible attitude about any accommodation and they were more concerned about the way the checks would be split before we even were all seated and when one of our party members was walking back towards the table one of the waitresses yelled across the restaurant that we walked in with an attitude initially
This would have been our first time trying the place and I will say none of us will ever try to come here again due to the behavior and lack of accommodation for a large well paying party.

Great place to go for lunch! Big J on the grill and Dani behind the bar were both super friendly and accommodating. Monday Sliders were top notch with cheese, pickle, and those sauteed onions…
