We had a chance to first sit down with Jessica to learn about the rich history of her family run restaurant. It’s wonderful to see a local business to continue it’s success through the generations. They are a great place for both a nice sit down meal or pizza. The red and white pizza I had and they were both amazing. I also had the chicken parmesan and gnocchi and both were delicious. It’s definitely a nice local restaurant to checkout if you haven’t yet.

Great food and pizza. Wait times for food are absolutely crazy. I have seen people walk out. Went for my Birthday, everything was delicious as usual. I’m giving it three stars because you should not have to wait two hours for pizza. For that matter, you shouldn’t have to wait two hours for any food.. If it was faster, 4 stars easy!

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant. I can’t believe it’s been open my wole life and I’ve never been there. My mom made sure we visisted restaurants regularly epically non chair ones. Every month a group of people o work with go to dinner an this is where we close for last months dinner. Well we all pull up into their parking lot around 7 only to find a paper on the door saying chef is sick. Stuff happens I get it but they could have put it on their Facebook page I feel like.

We made reservations for 7 pm on a Saturday night. I wanted to try the restaurant to see if I wanted to do my rehearsal dinner there. We got there a little early, but were seated right away as it was not busy. There was a smell of mold and musk when you walked in. We sat for about 15 minutes before anyone came to us. No greeting, just “Can I get you some drinks?” We then waited another 15 minutes to actually get the water. Another waitress came to take our order. Did not greet us and did not introduce herself. We ordered all our food at once. It took an hour for our appetizer to come out, crab and cheese dip. It was placed in front of us with about a cup of grease on it and a burnt layer. My fiance placed a napkin on it and it got completely soaked, but did not help. It was very salty. We waited another half hour for salad, which was thrown on a plate. The house Italian was very vinegary and sour. We asked for more water and a waitress slammed a pitcher of water down on our table. The other waitress came to tell us “we were next” for getting our food, but my mom didn’t hear her. The waitress then said “yeah I know you didn’t eat, I said you are next.” Horrible attitude. All the other tables had bread around us, and it was finally brought to us after being in the restaurant for 1.5 hours. It was cold and served with margarine. We finally got our food after about 1 hr and 50 minutes. My gnocchi was absolutely disgusting. Claggy chunks of potato not cooked well. My mom’s mashed potatoes were like paste. The spaghetti was very thick and also not cooked well. The chicken parmesan tasted like sink water. The vodka sauce was tasteless and the worst I’ve ever had. The decor was very old and tasteless. There was a napkin stuffed under the table to keep it from wobbling. No one asked us how the food was and no one told us to have a good night. The prices were also not accurate to the menu, we were charged more. Absolutely dreadful experience.

Great dining experience! The pizza as an appetizer is a winner! The chicken Scampi doesn’t disappoint!

On vacation from Kentucky, and my husband and I stopped at Wikes-Barre Township in Pennsylvania for the evening. My husband found this wonderful authentic Italian restaurant for dinner. The server gave us the history…still owned by the family who started it over 80 years ago. Everything is still made fresh! I had the pizza and it was delicious! My husband had steamed clams and the crab casserole…and he raved about both!

Food was pretty good. Service a little lacking. This was our first time here and probably our last. They were not busy, it was a Thursday at 5 pm, waitress not very friendly and Service was slow.

Arrived at 7, finally got to order around 7:15. Food took two hours to come out. Its not even like they were super busy, only a few people were in the restaurant. I was desperately hungry and the ridiculously small appetizers were not helping any. Only adding another star because the waitstaff was great and personable, but the service was incredibly slow and they are short staffed. Not really worth the wait. The decorations were weird and it was an uncomfortable atmosphere. Sorry that you guys are low-staffed, but it would definitely help if you actually hired some people so that people aren’t spending HOURS waiting. Ridiculous.
