Growing up in Norwalk this was always the classy place to have dinner with family or after church on Sundays and even now 30 years later this place is still a classy place to dine at. It was (in my opinion) very tastefully redecorated while still maintaing the feel of the original atmosphere. The food is still good with larger portion sizes being served. Staff is always welcoming, prices are definitely resonable for it being a non chain restaurant, and I mean if you’re going to pay more money for good food why not keep the “little” guys with charachter open instead of the chains?! I’ve never had an unreasonable wait time. Although as mentioned Sunday mornings may be a different story but worth the wait. If you are not feeling lunch/dinner with a friend there is a cute little bar attached. This place is a definite recommendation from me

Beautiful ceilings with cozy atmosphere and great staff. Historic town and building takes you back in time. Milkshakes are made on a baby blue old school mixer. Menu is affordable and extensive.

the staff was extremely friendly. The food was great diner food, Burgers and Shakes, especially. I have the vanilla milkshake which was amazing I also tried their special macaroni and cheese burger. I asked for no onions, but it was excellent. My mother got the breaded tenderloin and said how great that was as well. We would go here again when in the mood for comfort food.

The food was good and the atmosphere was so cute! The service was also good! The story of Berry’s was on the menu and it was fun to read about the history of this cute place.

Blue cheese salad was excellent. Crab cakes we’re pretty good. My Cuban sandwich just wasn’t quite loud enough flavor wise. The decor was very interesting and romantic. The service was first class. I think I would go back again. My sister said her bourbon salmon was excellent.

We at at the patio area. It was so pretty, and the singer was wonderful. I would have given 5 stars, except our server was not great. She spilled iced tea on me and looked at my pants when she did it, but never apologized. Food was good though. Enjoyed the atmosphere

The food was good..nothing extravagant. Just a good cooked meal. The service was exceptional. The friendliness of the greeter and my waitress Jessie was on top of her job. She was also very informative about the history of the restaurant and the building it is in when asked about it. Her friendly demeanor also made dinner enjoyable. If in the area again I would come back.

Breakfast was great. My hubby had sausage gravy & biscuits. Sausage gravy was homemade and “really good”. My veggie omelet with mushrooms, onions, spinach & tomatoes was yummy. Hash browns were crispy. Coffee was good and strong. Only downside was the wait because they were short handed.

It is a very nice place. The staff was friendly and attentive. But the food was not good. Fries tasted of freezer burn. French onion soup did not appear to be fresh. I sampled most of our parties dishes and did not appreciate a single item.
