A little hometown hidden gem. This place has always had some of the best food in Mt.Sterling. They are well known in this area well liked. The place is always packed with people enjoying the great food and shakes. They have a great variety of ice creams, banana split, sundaes, etc. Can’t wait to go again.

Spent $30 for a BBQ chicken sandwich, a very low quality frozen hamburger, a tenderloin that looked and tasted like it had been cooked and thrown back in the fryer to reheat it, the smiley potatoes (literally only 4), and an order of tater tots. Of ALL that food, ONLY the tater tots were tolerable…..after we added salt and ketchup. We ended up having to go somewhere else due to everything else making everyone gag.

Loved their unique dairy creations! I have never had a funnel cake ice cream blend nor have I ever heard of it but it was sooooo good. They had a lot of options and it didn’t take them long to serve all 4 of us in our vehicle. Also it was very reasonably priced. Much cheaper than what you get at their competitors! I highly recommend if you are in the area and want some ice cream. I will be returning anytime I’m nearby.

We took our food to go everyone enjoyed the burgers and Buffalo chicken sandwiches. That said, I ordered the Ruben and the pickle that came with it was great, but the sandwich was in no way a Ruben. It was made with beef of some kind and white cheese idk know if it was Swiss or not. It didn’t have any saurkraut on it at all . It was absolutely awful and misrepresented. If you love Rubens, order the double cheese burger because you will be sorely disappointed in what they call a Ruben

What can I say? Berryman’s is a tradition, always seve the best chili dogs, burgers etc. Whatever you order here will be great! I’ve been coming here since I was a child, I’ve never been disappointed, same great taste, love that chili!

They have a large menu. Not all of the choices are good. Loved the burger, fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and soft serve desserts. Price is right for the food.

I’ve lived in Mount Sterling my whole life, and about two or three years ago, I considered Berryman’s my favorite restaurant in town. Now, they overcharge tremendously—$8 for a small bag of about ten tiny deep fried mushrooms!—their building is falling apart inside and out, and they just don’t seem to care anymore. And you know, I get it, it’s family owned and the owners are probably burnt out and don’t have their hearts in it as much anymore, I can empathize. But for the quality, I will not be eating here again. I hope someday Berryman’s can be great again, I miss the way they used to be.

This is the place to go for real downhome dairy bar food! The chili dog is the best. We got chili dogs, fried pickles, banana pepper rings, orange sherbert, chocolate vanilla swirl, and strawberry shortcake…. nothing was a disappointment! It was all sooooo good!

We had a friend in Winchester to tell us about Berryman’s Tasty treat. Wow!! Hotdogs are amazing, fried banana peppers amazing, onion rings are amazing, fried potatoes amazing, fried banana peppers AMAZING!!! I live in NC but will definitely make a trip back to My Sterling when I’m in KY to eat here. Did I mention how amazing the fried banana peppers are?
