My friend and I met for dinner at Benucci’s on a Wednesday night. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, and my friend ordered a shrimp salad. I really appreciated being able to choose from two different sizes! I ordered the smaller size, and it was plenty. I like it when I get warm, grilled chicken on the salad instead of it being cold, which they did. Both of us enjoyed our meal, which also came with rolls. The service was quick, yet no one hurried us either. I would absolutely recommend trying it!

Great Italian place with generous portion sizes. Not exactly cheap, but I especially recommend the creme brulee!

Children’s menu prices are inaccurate! Menu stated a kids pasta was $7. When the bill came I was charged $8. Honestly that is not a huge deal, however when I mentioned it to the waitress, she basically gave me the answer of “I don’t know and I don’t care,” took my card and charged me the full amount. Hope they update their kids menu to actually reflect the true price! Otherwise a pleasant experience and good food!

Quaint little restaurant in the Trader Joe’s plaza with a really nice quiet atmosphere. I had the Italian Margarita and it was pretty delicious. Never had kiwi syrup in a drink before. We started with the fried risotto, which is basically arancini. The blush sauce paired with the pesto on top really made this dish. The risotto itself was well cooked, and had cheese stuffed in. Great appetizer to get the meal going. Wife had the minestrone that she said was perfect, and really filled her soup craving. As always, I had the Cesar salad, and while a little overdressed, it wasn’t overpowering. I would get it again. Entrees were the vodka penne for the wife, and I had the mushroom ravioli and added chicken. Wife said hers was good, but it wasn’t spicy as mentioned in the menu. She was saving room for dessert, so didn’t eat as much. I, however, couldn’t stop, and joined the clean plate club. The ravioli themselves were tender and so flavorful, in the light pesto cream sauce. Mix that all together with the spinach, artichokes, and tomatoes, and this dish was spectacular. Our waitress did not get it wrong when she recommended it. For dessert, I got the apple crostada, and wife got the creme brulee. This was the only negative of the night – way too much caramel sauce on both. The creme brulee literally had a pool of it on top that she scraped most of it off. Similarly, mine was swimming in it. It really took away from both desserts. Also, the bread and butter was fantastic. Our server was very friendly, and did a great job balancing all her tables.

An awesome place for lunch! Get the salad and pasta deal. I like the tomato cream sauce and a Ceasars salad. The pasta is always cooked just right, not chewy and not mushy. Big portions, awesome service.

We used to really enjoy this place. It’s not the greatest restaurant in the world, but it was a nice place to go with my family. Usually we have pretty good service, too. Until tonight, when we had mediocre service and were charged an automatic 20% gratuity for a party of six. We had to ask for bread, and when it did come out (with our food) it tasted off to me. Not a huge deal, and we didn’t say anything. When we asked the waitress about the gratuity being added, she said that it’s been policy for a couple of years to automatically add 20% gratuity on a party of six or more. This hasn’t been our experience, and we’ve been several times as a party of six in the last couple years. We left with a really bad feeling– was she making it up? We didn’t see it written anywhere on the menu, I double checked as I left.

I had low expectations, thinking this was yet another Italian American restaurant named B____ci’s. It was surprisingly very good. I got the short ribs, and they totally delivered. My wife got the mushroom raviolis and they were tasty. Nice selection of affordable wines. Great cocktails (and we didn’t have to provide a recipe for a Negroni, like so many other so-called Italian restaurants). Swift, courteous, and attentive service. We’ll be back.

The restaurant is nice. The customer service was absolutely phenomenal. The food was okay. I ordered the pizza. It was a little bland but not bad. I don’t regret going, but I don’t think we’re going to make this one of our regular stops.

The Calamari Fritta was tasty … but consisted mostly of fried banana pepper rings. We want squid on our dish not rings of filler/s. Nice but not inexpensive.
