Best place to get a pastrami sandwich. To sit or to go.

Not too bad. Great hostess. Great pickles, great pastrami. Great service from wait staff. Was a special place in the past, still fairly ok for a quick sandwich. Something broken about the management in this place tho.

I must say I have never seen such abhorrent behavior from management and staff at the front desk. The way they treated their customers is shameful. No customer in a service oriented business should be treated with such disdain. Really disgusting management. And that’s being nice.

Bought one “hot dog” to go with mustard , ketchup and kraut. It was burnt and dry to the crisp!!! Inedible !!! Place is gross . No idea how they allow such food to leave premises

Excellent & one of the last “authentic jewish style” deli’s. Good food. Lightening fast service. Nice big open eating area in the corner of the lovely Wheatley Plaza.

Beyond delicious!!! Great service! The portions are huge. I almost always get brisket on rye and a potato knish. The brisket is always lean, juicy, and tender -and- the potato knish is to die for!!!

The best thing about this place is the looks. It’s nice inside, but everything else is mid. For food, we got potato pancakes, which are just potato pancakes, so nothing special. There is no way to really mess those up, and the same is true with the kinish I got. The coleslaw was watery and had no flavor, and the two types of pickles weren’t great either. My main was a Reuben which had corned beef which was fine, not alot of flavor. For twenty-two bucks, it should have been better.

Anne Hathaway did not spit in my food.
Two words: Tongue Omelette. Great service all around, from hostess to waiter and cashier. Generous sides. Visited after a trip to Nassau Art Museum.

My server at the deli counter was very thorough and patient. He had me watch and check as he packed my bags, hot food & cold food. Excellent sandwiches, too!

The food from Ben’s is always delicious! Ordered takeout and everything was fresh and yummy! Got a pastrami sandwich and a bunch of soups. Was well worth the trip as usual!
