We arrived at the place 5 min before our reservation and nobody greet us or noticed us even when there were 3 girls in the front counter. We waited to be seated about 10 min after the time of our reservation. Place was busy on Saturday so def recommend to make reservations. Food was good especially the chicken fried rice and the show provided by the chef was good as well. Chef was very friendly and funny. We were 7 people at the table and he had to cook separately for almost everybody. Waitress was also very patient and friendly.

The food at this place was delicious, but the chef at our communal hibachi grill table didn’t quite match up to the expertise of other chefs we’ve seen. While the dishes were tasty, the chef didn’t showcase the mesmerizing culinary techniques we were hoping for. One positive aspect was the chef’s habit of sharing leftovers with the table, which added a nice touch of generosity. However, the noisy atmosphere was a downside. Despite these drawbacks, the food itself was enjoyable.

Laz, the manager came by, and he helped us out with everything. Jean was our chef and he was excellent, and our server was really nice. The food was amazing, we all loved it and the performance Jean gave us. We’ll definitely come back for sure 🙂

This was our first time at the Benihana at coral gables. We had reservations (open table) and once we checked in at the hostess stand we were seated very quickly on the second floor part of the restaurant. It’s quieter up there which I liked and not as well lit as downstairs.

It was the standard Benihana experience. Beautifully located in Corals Gables downtown area. I recommend parking in the parking garage behind the building, it’s only a couple dollars. We made reservations but had to wait about 20 minutes. Our server was very attentive. The chef asked about allergies and made sure to cook my meal separately. Great place for the kids!

You would think this place is overpriced but you’ll be surprised to find it is not! It is worth every penny. The food is delicious, our chef Douglas was great! Laz, the gentleman that greeted us and sat us down was very profesional and friendly. And our server Daniel was also very quick and attentive. 10/10!!!!!!
