The food was really good and the chef show was great but the wait time was ridiculously long. Spent 3 hours here just to have dinner. 40 mins waiting for a table. Drinks took forever. Ran out of water twice. Service was horrible. Not friendly. The chef was great. Interactive, friendly, entertaining. Food was really good nice flavors and cooked to perfection. Also there was something wrong with the airflow in the restaurant. Everyone was literally sweating it was so hot and very smoky from all the grills. The restaurant is not very clean at all either. Lots of dust and sticky tables. The walls are splattered with food. The floors were really gross. Oh and my plate was supposed to have ice cream included and that was never brought out.

We went during the lunch special hours and the food was good as usual but our server was not as animated and he got part my order wrong, so i just switched with my partner. The restaurant was in need of cleaning. Carpet needed a good vacuum. We had a good experience and the wait time was short with our reservation.

on 5/19/23 went to Benihana in Miramar, FL for a birthday dinner for a party of 7. Made a complaint with manager, Sidney. told him about Food was salty, scallops were extra small, looked like they were cut in half and we were given a dirty fork with food stuck in it. Final Bill was $521.37. This included an 18% gratuity of $75.08. When I receive my Bill spoke to manager, Sheri-Ann Scott, who was very rude and unprofessional, that I was charged a gratuity on my bill. Benihana’s policy, printed in the menu, says for a party of 8 or more guest an 18% gratuity will be added. I only had 7. Police was called because she refused to honor her company’s policy. I was forced to pay the bill. I was Embarrassed and humiliated for the treatment received at this establishment.

For $16.20 plus tax this is what they give when you order take out! This is ridiculous. For almost $20 I’m definitely taking my business elsewhere.I purchased (4) 12oz shrimp rice and (2) 12 oz chicken rice and every last one looked just like that.

Came here on a Sunday evening for dinner after the football game. We made reservations and arrived 10 minutes early. We waited about 30 min before I got a notification my reservation was canceled. When I went to the hostess to ask why she said I never checked in. But I had checked in with her. We still had to wait another 15 min. So we were seated almost an hour after the reservation. The waitress who took our drink order was rude and rushed everyone at the table. Chef was great and food tasted great. Wish I had the opportunity to get more than one drink. We were never offered waters or refills or anything of that nature.
