Bellisio’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar conjures up images of highly skilled chefs, fine wines, superb service, and fresh Italian food. And while this is most certainly true, one must not forget that Bellisio’s is above all, an experience. An exceptional dining experience, to be precise, but one that happens to take place in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of the quaint eateries and wine bars of the Italian countryside. The wine menu, bestowed The Award Of Excellence every year by Wine Spectator since the restaurants opening in 1999, is second to no other! Imported direct from Italy is all the beauty, comfort, romance, and glorious food and wine under the Tuscan sun. It’s not too much or too little.

The food here is amazing! Prices are reasonable for fine dining, but would be considered high if you were feeding a family or comparing to a chain like Olive Garden. There is no comparison between Bellisio’s and Olive Garden as far as food quality. The Lobster cream sauce is amazing!

Server was decent. Atmosphere dated. Food quite overpriced. Everything is extra….bread, salad…flavorless burnt toast with entree. Chicken Marsala was flavorless. The seafood pasta dishes and the calamari appetizer WERE delicious though. Our bill for 6 people was over $300, we would not eat there again.

Both my husband I and love this place. The food is so good, loved the lobster ravioli and my husband loved the Fettuccine Alfredo. Another time we went we had the salmon and pasta with Italian Sausage, again so good! Loved the 1/2 price wine on Mondays, hope they keep that as it’s a great way to try some of their top wines. Overall, so good, one of the main reasons we travel to Duluth!

My husband and I stumbled in this restaurant by accident last year and it was absolutely incredible. Friendly service, quiet/romantic atmosphere, and every dish we ordered was excellent, along with reasonably priced for the quality! I had what I believe was a special that evening, a pasta featuring a lobster cream sauce that I cannot forgot. We plan to go back this Saturday while in Duluth, really looking forward to it!

A super restaurant. The wine list is large. If you move away from the national brands there are some excellent wines to pair with the food. The fresh catch was great. Salmon with asparagus and angel hair pasta with a wonderful cream sauce. Their Italian offerings are so tasty. The service is excellent. Very comfortable and warm atmosphere. Don’t miss this restaurant if in Duluth.

We loved our experience at this restaurant! After leaving another nearby restaurant where we had reservations for a busy Saturday night, but arrived and found the service and environment lacking, we decided to try Bellisio’s instead. It was busy and without a reservation we expected to sit outside, but they were kind enough to get us a table inside within a few minutes, even though we didn’t ask them to. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive – actually, everyone we spoke to was that way. It says a lot when the staff are in good spirits and doing their jobs well, even on a very busy day. Our food was excellent. We will definitely eat here again the next time we’re in Duluth.

Lobster Ravioli w/ 6 “jumbo” shrimp. There was probably less than 1 ounce in total of lobster in the ravioli….. mostly lobster flavored sauce inside. The shrimp were moderate in size and nowhere close to jumbo. All for $40. Honestly…… Chef Boyardee rivaled the ravioli here.
