Bellhop has great tiki drinks, very good drinks- well presented and the folks making the drinks are awesome but it’s not a tiki bar. Ambiance is more of a cool beach vibe with club music. The crowd is hip and trendy. It’s a fun place to grab drinks with friends.

We had so much fun at Bellhop. Absolutely beautiful location. They take their tiki seriously, and have a killer Mai Tai the way it’s supposed to be made. The big surprise was the pillow talk – I can and did have too many of those. It’s a shame there’s no food right now – even bar snacks would go a long way.

Unexpected tiki bar in downtown Des Moines. The drink were good and the environment was very fun. We would go back for sure. Parking was very easy and we were able to get a seat right away. A welcome change to the local norm.

Talk about a cute hip spot! Stopped in for a couple cocktails and was served a good time before heading to dinner. Drinks were great and it is always an extra star if High Life stubbies are available to side car each order.

A great place to grab a tropical cocktail in the middle of Iowa. The themed drinks, decor and plants definitely set a chill vibe. Sofie was a fantastic and personable bar tender! She made great drinks and had great recommendations as well.

Trey and Drew were wonderful and helped me choose a couple great cocktails to try. A great spot with plenty of seating and a great menu that will keep you coming back!

They were quick to seat us and friendly. I learned I dislike margaritas but not their fault. Tequilas are just not my thing I guess. The bar tender mixed me a mystery mule as they weren’t on the menu and it was delicious. I left a tip for the good drink. I’d go back with friends.

Wow! So many drink options and all of them are in the spirit of tiki drinks. Before ordering I would ask if the drink if for two or one person, because some of them are really big! There is beer on tap as well. I would love some snack food here though, especially since tiki drinks tend to be strong and sneak up on you.
