Bella Italia in Newton, NJ is an absolute gem. The chicken parm is hands-down the best perfectly crispy chicken topped with rich, homemade marinara sauce that’s so good you’ll want extra just to dip your bread in. Every bite tastes like it was made with care.
The service is outstanding, especially from the owners, who truly make you feel like family the moment you walk in. There’s so much Italian authenticity throughout the restaurant it’s not just food, it’s an experience. You can tell this is a place built on love, tradition, and pride.
The pizza maker is incredible and even offers gluten-free options, which is such a plus. You can genuinely feel how much heart he puts into his work, and the same goes for the chefs in the back everything is cooked with passion. The owner’s daughter has a fantastic personality, and the waitresses and staff are all friendly, talkative, and welcoming, making every visit feel warm and personal.
Another huge highlight is the weekly specials they are always delicious and creative. I genuinely look forward to seeing what’s new every week, from drink specials to appetizers and entrées. There’s always something exciting to try.

I have been a resident of Sussex County area for years and I can confidently say not one pizzeria in Sussex/Hardyston/ Franklin/ Sparta/ or Vernon serves a homemade chicken ORZO soup. With all fresh ingredients and the veggies harvested from local farms. Bella Italia offers just that and the soup is to die for. Not sure if he’s the manager but the man who takes care of the front end is impressive with his cooking skills. Always baking fresh Bread to be served side by side with the soup. IN ADDITION; I am VERY picky when comes to a Plain Pizza pie. Martino pies have the best undercarriage, the plain pies never have a flop! No grease! && The cheese to sauce ratio is impeccable. True delicacy a simple plain slice and soup made me fall so in love with this establishment!
Martino’s customer service made it all more worth the while. Martino was a pleasure to speak to, he is very well mannered and well spoken. Overall rating off the charts don’t know how I didn’t know of this restaurant sooner. If you happen to be in the newton Andover area you got to try them out !!! PS the chocolate mousse is to die for ! Made in house and so delicious

You could always count on Bella for a delicious meal! One of the best Italian restaurants in the area. I’ve had a lot off the menu from pizza, sandwiches, hot appetizers, to meals and have never been disappointed. I like to cook so I’m a little bit picky but I would certainly recommend this place.

My husband; myself and my daughter absolutely LOVE Bella Italia! We order from here at least once a week! They make the best pizza around. Their sauce truly makes the pie.
