I was really hoping for a better experience based on the other reviews but I was not impressed. I realize service is slow and hard to find people so I’m not terribly worried about the slow food coming out and lack of attentiveness by our wait staff.

Great place. Staff was very nice. Food was good. First place where my hash browns were cooked correctly and weren’t still raw. Enjoyed the setting. We will be back. But my only concern were the plates. Very cheap plastic and there were cuts into the plates from previous customers who were cutting steak or chicken fried steaks I’m guessing. In those little cuts that remain in the plates is were bacterial can and will grow. Also if you’re cutting your food on the plastic plate where do you think those plastic shavings go??? In your food and mouth. I would highly suggest they order new plates that are not plastic. I honestly felt like I was eating off of one of my kids plates at the house, which I would never use a steak knife on. Next time I might just get my order to go.

We ate here for breakfast. It’s a cute little restaurant, right off the highway. We have been here a few times for lunch and the food was good but breakfast was delicious and way too much food. Service was excellent and super fast and friendly. We both ordered the Big Blue Breakfast, I got French Toast (they even put the ham on a separate plate so my husband could eat it since it’s not something I eat) and he got pancakes. It was more than I could eat, so you’ll definitely leave full. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

A very nice down to home restaurant. Lot’s of locals go here. Comfort food at its finest. Ordered a chef salad and “Wow” it was great. Very clean and service was excellent. Take time out and go there, you will be pleased. Great to take the whole family 5 ⭐’s. Update: 29 April, ’22 :. As always, this restaurant has always been a 5 ⭐ rating. Excellent service from all the staff. Making us feel at home and enjoying our meals. Update: 3 August, 2023. Always great food. The whole staff has it together. . Very, very clean restaurant. A friendly atmosphere creates a nice stay to enjoy a fabulous meal. 5 ⭐’s. I highly recommend that you go there and find out yourself.

I read the reviews before going. I think we ate in a different place than the reviews covered… chicken fried steak was flavorless. English muffin must have been put on the grill cause it sopped up all the butter(grease) and was a soggy mess home fries had no flavor coffee was week at best. It looked like they had community coffee which we love… THAT was not community coffee.. husband had no flavor either. We tried appetizers too. Mozzarella stick were good. Onion rings again no flavor otherwise they would have been great.. both of our meals were nothing to write home about. Our waitress was great prices we way to steep for what we got. We won’t go back. Over all disaster.

Friendly atmosphere. Food was less than desirable. The eggs had a strange taste to them. The hash browns were cold, rubbery, too crispy (hurt my teeth to try to eat them) and no flavor. I took 1 bite and couldn’t eat anymore. The ham was mediocre. The best thing on my plate was the French toast that was not served with butter. Would not spend my money here if your eating food.

We Have been tired of going to eat at big restaurants. We Decided to try small private owned restaurants. This place is outstanding. The food is delicious. The staff are very friendly. Every bite was better than the last.

We had the catfish meal. It was delicious! It came out fresh and piping hot. We definitely will be coming back, and we also placed this cafe on our eatery list. Jessica was our server, and she was very courteous and tended to our needs promptly. We left her a very generous tip. The other helpers there were very courteous too. Sweet, sweet, friendly ladies. They all made us feel very welcomed. Thank you!!!
