I love this place! The staff is always warm and friendly. They made us non-alcoholic cocktails, which were delicious and refreshing. The food is bountiful, beautiful, and they have a plethora of vegetarian options. Our meals were tasty and we were happy to take leftovers home.

What a hidden gem! You have to visit this place. I was merely passing through this town and I’m so happy I stopped here. Best dining experience I’ve had in so long! Jared took great care of me and made me the best caramel latte. Made with love! I ordered the shrimp and grits and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Firm but not overdone shrimp, but that sauce!!! Oh my god. I want that sauce on everything! The food was top notch but the real treat was Jared’s kindness and the kindness from all of the staff, down to the cooks in the back. Go visit this place and you will be transported to a place where people are kind to one another and make you feel happier than a seagull with a French fry! 🙂

It has been awhile since we have been to Bell Cafe in Mechanicsville. On Saturday (5/27) we decided to give it a shot before heading out for the day. This is a good and ‘bad’ post all in one. My son really wanted the cinnamon roll waffle. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla (pretty decent), and the hubs ordered an omelette (pretty decent). Let’s just say our son ended up eating off our plates after only taking two bites of his waffle. I couldn’t even cut it it was so hard. The bottom we could tell was so burnt. We told our waitress and we did get 10% off, but we still ended up paying over $11 for something we didn’t even eat. We may go back and give it another chance. Just a little disappointed in something as simple as a waffle.

I ate here for the first time. I enjoyed the avocado toast. Even though it is an appetizer, they provide enough food that it could be a complete meal. The flavor was impeccable. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was beyond amazing. Cant wait to come again and try something new!

I had brunch here for the first time and the food was very delicious. I loved the little plants for decorations and the patio was nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I saw other people’s drinks that were very lovely as well. I hope to visit again soon.

I absolutely LOVED everything about this place. The staff were all nice and helpful, I love how the outside area is open but shaded. The mimosa flight was great! The food was EXCELLENT. Definitely will be coming back.
