Dining at the Beef Grill Club turned out to be the perfect choice. Beautiful setting, attentive service, and truly excellent food.
The ribeye was outstanding, the chicken incredibly tender, and the truffle mash — made from real potatoes — was a detail I really appreciated.
Everything was perfectly paired with a genuinely good Malbec.

Great service, but the quality of the food was much to be desired. We came in as a group of 6. three of us ordered a dry aged ribeye steak, and we were really excited for the steak. Given that it’s a steak specialty restaurant, we had high hopes. The steaks were cooked to temperature, but they were one of the toughest and tasteless cut of meat I’ve ever tasted. They were so chewy that it was very hard to swallow even though they were cooked to rare and medium-rare.

I’ve been coming to the Beef Grill Club by Hasir at Gendarmenmarkt for years, and it has rarely – if ever – disappointed. It’s my solid go-to spot in Berlin whenever I’m craving a great steak.
The quality of the food is consistently high, and the price-to-value ratio is hard to beat, especially considering the location and atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and highly professional. Even if something occasionally doesn’t go as planned, they handle it with grace and efficiency, which makes all the difference.
A very well-rounded and reliable dining experience every time. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Prior to our Berlin trip we were recommended BGC as a dinner venue & we were SO glad we went!
Really classy venue, attentive service but without being fussy, these guys know their stuff! Our food was faultless…steaks cooked to perfection, sides generous & piping hot & the Bearnaise sauce…wow!
Not cheap…but you get what you pay for! Absolutely recommended!!!

Food is good and the staff is nice to us. Space and locations is lovely where i just live upstairs of the hotel. Just one thing .when we go inside, the receptionist pick us to a table which is half sofa bock with table…cleanly can not sit till i move a table a bit left….this sit is just a little bit….odd. But overall is nice !

BGC beat our wildest expectations and then some. The meat was amazing, cooked to perfection. It was so good that puts my other five star reviews to shame.
The chef was most attentive and helpful. We were lucky to discover this gem right under our hotel room.
I have eaten steak in Kobe, Texas, Paris, and dozens of other countries… sometimes at Michelin starred restaurants. BGC has better meat and they’re great at service.

We went there on a weekday evening. As one might expect, the restaurant was only half full. However, staff had us wait for 5 minutes before showing us our table.
The meat was absolutely delicious- if you can take the Châteaubriand for share. The sides are okay, so go for meat.
Wine was also okay, not very spectacular for a mid-Price range. If you’re willing to spend more money, there are some hidden gems as well.
So, in sum, the restaurant is nice, the Food is good.

Had breakfast here every morning, and the spread is just unbelievable. The dinner we had was fantastic with a great bottle of wine. Price was a little on the high side we thought, but great food and great service so it’s understandable.
