I tried this spot for the first time. I got me fried shrimp with barbecue sauce, Mac and cheese, and candied yams. The food was good. My favorite food on the plate was the Mac and cheese it was good and I wished there was more on my plate. My least favorite food on the plate were the yams. They weren’t bad but I wish it was more sweeter. The shrimp was also good but they drenched in barbecue so it loss it’s crisp but I still enjoyed it.

I ordered through Uber eats. Food was terrible. The meatloaf was burnt at the bottom. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and tasted old. The stems were not cut off the greens. It’s a no go.

I’m try to support minority owned businesses but this just ain’t right. Dispute the fact that they take forever to prepare the food, on numerous occasions they have been notoriously rude, on my last and final visit they served me a plate of grease. Which I couldn’t really figure out where all the grease came from since I only ordered jerk shrimp, Mac & cheese and collard greens. Any who, they’re wayyy to expensive to not have your meal perfect( especially after taking 40 mins to prepare it, but that’s another story) when it arrives.

It was my first time going to this restaurant. It’s a 2 go spot so u can not eat in. But OMG the food was so good. I had the fried whiting fish with mac and cheese and potatoes and each bit was filled with such great taste. Definitely will be going back again.

My cousins and I walked over to get something eat one Saturday. It was my first time there but I drive by frequently. There was a short line inside and outside however things moved pretty quickly. I ordered fried shrimp and fries. We all had the same expression, we have to go back!!
