This used to be one of my favorite places, but my last visit, did me in for a while. The waitress seemed preoccupied with friends who were at another table, and there were sooo many flies we were literally swatting them while we tried to eat. I say “tried” cause the BBQ which is normally very good, came out absolutely horrible! It was dry on the outside and like mush in the middle. It tasted like it had shredded Slim Jim’s in it….. YUCK!!! This was NOT the norm, and it was NOT edible! The potato salad was scarily warm, so couldn’t eat that… left me with the fries. Good thing I love fries, but… she never brought the Ranch I asked for. It’s a good thing one glass of tea was enough cause she never bothered to see if we needed more. Very disappointed and have since, turned down 2 invites to this place. Sorry guys.

Had a large group from all over to entertain and take to lunch. These folks stepped up and did a good job, my friends and I had good service and plenty of food reasonably priced with great service. Bunch of Yankees and some good ol boys left with a sold appreciation for Southern hospitality and Beaver Creek.

The food has been really good everytime I have been there. My order was takeout this time. And I ordered a ribeye steak and a baked potato and salad. Got home , ready to eat and my baked potato looked like it had been setting a long time. It was almost all brown inside. The steak was so tough , I couldn’t even cut it with a knife. And it a weird taste and smell. Salad was good. Very disappointed. I know everybody has a bad day sometimes.So I will eat there again.

My family ate there and purchased a one time trip to the hot bar. My daughter got sick and did not get to eat her food. A waitress that was not waiting on our table ask if she would like a box to go and she said yes. Then we ask our waitress if we could have a to go box and she said she would go get us one. She then came back and said she could not have a box because it was the hot bar. So we paid almost $10.00 for a meal that she could not take home. If she had a loaded plate it would have been different but it was not over exceeding a regular salad and hot bar plate. Been going here for years when it was Steak and Pizza, but will not be back.

I had the one trip dinner bar. The BBQ chicken was excellent. Salad fixings were fresh and there was a decent variety. Good sides. I had plenty to eat on one trip.

Decent bar-b-q…about average actually. Great service in a quaint little strip-mall setting. The hush puppies were very good.
