Bestside has gluten free buns, and they’re good! These aren’t your average gf buns. They don’t fall into pieces when you try to pick them up AND they taste good.
On top of great food and stellar service, I’m thankful to have found somewhere I can order a real burger. Thank you being thoughtful of us folks with food allergies and dietary restrictions.

This place has potential but there are negatives. I’ll start with the positives. I had the Brisket Dip with Onion Rings. It tasted great but I could tell that the food died sitting in the window which was unfortunate. A friend had the Reuben but said it was dry. Another friend had the TBA and said it was great if it had been hot. Another friend had Chili and the Deep Fried Pickle Won Tons. He said it was really good as well.
The negatives; parking is horrible. The service was slow. Would have been a much more enjoyable experience with better service. Better service would have given us warm food.

They recently did a menu change here and wow it’s amazing! I had a great Reuben last time I was in, and last week I ordered take out for my family and every single one of us loved our food! Love the atmosphere and service here too. Will definitely be back!

TLDR: decent food and good service.
I realized we’d never tried Bestside before, despite having passed it on numerous occasions, so I thought we’d give it a try!
We ordered some iced tea and a Diet Coke to start, and while we were hungry, didn’t really see anything on the app menu that we could both agree on (picky meee ).
For dinner, he ordered the JAMBALAYA (shrimp, chicken, andouille sausage, okra, peppers, onions, celery, cajun rice). I think we must be used to bigger portions at other restaurants because this was pretty small. He scarfed it down super quickly and was still hungry.
I ordered the SWEET & SPICY SHRIMP TACOS (corn tortillas, sweet and spicy shrimp, cilantro lime slaw, tomato-corn salsa, cotija cheese, served with tortilla chips). This dish, contrary to the jambalaya, was bigger than anticipated, which was good, because I was full after 2 of the 3 tacos, and gave one away to my bf. The tacos were good, but I feel like a little less coleslaw would do, since the tacos were super messy and dripping with the white sauce off the slaw.
I really enjoyed the flavor of the “salsa” that was served with the chips. It was sort of tangy and sweet. I only wish there was a bit more because the amount that is included was quickly used up with my chips.
If you like country music, that seemed to be what was played here the most on the jukebox. If you’re like me and kinda hate country music, you’re gonna have a bad auditory time. I did put in a few songs myself, but they didn’t play while we were there, as the queue was apparently quite long, so sorry to anyone who had to listen to my selections after we left!
Ambience wise, the lighting was VERY bright- think 1960s gymnasium bright lighting- which for a bar seemed a bit too much. Am I sensitive? Yes. Am I opinionated? Yes. Feel free to ignore my opinion
Overall the food was ok but serving portions were off, the music was specifically tailored to one type of crown crowd and the lighting was a bit bright for my taste, but the service was really good and fast. For that, I leave 5 stars.

Good food. Great service. There are a lot of options and everything was fresh made. The burgers were very tasty smash burgers – though they were not described that way.
My wife did not love the avocado toast.
The tater tots are… interesting. Crusty on the outside, gooey on the inside – they certainly are their own thing.
Parking wasn’t hard to find – but if it were busy I could imagine it being a little more difficult.

WOW!! Bestside is GREAT! Our first visit. Dill pickle wonton, really good. The Junkyard is killer, sooo tasty. Mushroom flatbread very good. Chili yummy. #New visit, Honey Brussel sprouts are FANTASTIC, Basil/pear salad really good. Spicy feta dip is sooo flavorful. Server Tommy, you are great!! ☆ new visit. Bobby took great care of us. Roasted Red Pepper soup, very flavorful. I had the Cowboy burger. Great!!! The chef had it cooked perfectly . Thank you to the chef! We shall return.

We got the pretzel bites, the hot chicken sandwich, and the Philly cheesesteak. Everything was absolutely amazing! 10/10 for EVERYTHING. And I don’t say that lightly! Everything was cooked PERFECTLY and tasted so good! Service was quick and everyone in the restaurant was so kind. Maddie was our server and she was an A+ server! I highly recommend this place to everyone. Great location and stays nice and cool inside even on this 80 degree day!

I usually like best side. I decided to get takeout and got the vegetable root salad with steak. The steak was ordered medium rare but this is just raw and cold to the touch. Can’t even eat it until I cook it myself. Wasn’t impressed with any of the rest of the takeout either. No dressing on either salad that we ordered too. Waste of money for the takeout. Super good everytime I eat in person. Also, when I told the bartender I ordered takeout she said she’d check on it then just didn’t acknowledge me for the next 10 minutes until someone brought food out. Had no clue what was going on.

Service was great! We’re pretty needy lol and she did great! Drinks online were not on the menus. I still got what I wanted and it was so good but had to explain it was on their website. Shot special was great! Everyone loved their food but me. My Caesar Wrap was very bland fatty chicken and stuffed with yellow lettuce. Other than that, all the food was excellent! I really enjoyed the wontons and pickled flat bread pizza. I would definitely come back but as for my favorite, chicken caesar wrap, this is not the place to get it.
