So yummy! Had no idea that True blue had other restaurants! Highly recommend! And great service from the cashier that took our order to the bartender that put us a drink into the chef that walked out front to get a drink himself and spoke to us!

I entered the alcove bar that shares a building with Beach Street. I ordered a drink and round to the corner to order food. I was immediately greeted and shine a special of which I chose and could not be more pleased. The food is incredible. It looks good. Smells good. I will be back here for certain. I suggested other people try it.

Best street has really stepped their food game up. We tried coming here couple years ago when they first opened and it wasn’t very good. And overpriced. Now it’s delicious. And priced right.
The quesadillas were huge and loaded with flavor. Same with the burgers.
They also have all the good local craft beers on tap. Can’t wait to go back

No complaints just full bellies. We’ve been a few times and at first took some time to get our mojo. Since then we’ve been super happy with our experience. From the rotisserie and carnitas tacos to the yummy truffle fries we have been walking away super satisfied. The gal behind the counter is so sweet. I regret I didn’t get her name.

This is a really cool place located in the cargo district. The owners of Beat Street are the same as the True Blue restaurant in Mayfaire. Beat Street is exactly as what you would expect from the name. It is really damn good street food that is hard to beat. See what I did there. Lol. Anyway so the atmosphere is a five. There is a lot of seating inside and outside. There is even seating upstairs in the box cars. The food is delicious. We ordered the Kai Yang Chicken Kabob & 2 of the specials that were offered that day “WALKING TACO” & the “BRATWURST”. The Kabob had a great flavor and was cooked perfect. The Ginger Kimchi salad had some heat but not a lot. It was a very balanced taste. The walking Taco was a very playful & creative way of putting together a really good Dorito’s version of loaded nachos. It had cool ranch doritos, Queso, Taco beef, lettuce. cilantro & pickled red onion. The bratwurst was very tasty although ours did not have any of the beer cheese. It was suppose to come with Stone ground mustard, sauerkraut + Beer cheese. It was still very good. This is a must try if you are visiting or live in the area.

This place is a secret that should never be kept. It sits in the heart of Wilmington and provides a cozy but energetic atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to grab good food, a tasty drink, or just somewhere to meet up with pfriends, this should become your new go-to. I have personally had about 90% of the food on their menu, and it is INCREDIBLEEEE! It is within walking distance of most places in downtown ILM and needs to be a place for everyone to try. Really!

Been wanting to come here for months, and I just feel a bit disappointed. Maybe the Philly burrito was just lacking something, but it was overall just kinda plain tasting. I feel like an acid, something like pickled red onions could have made it pop more. I’d like to give this place another go, I hope to find a better more well rounded item. That being said – get the nachos, that’s the dish I should’ve went with.

Enjoyed some wonderful beers @fermentalnc and great food at the newest place in the cargo district @beatst_streetfood. The guacamole was a large portion and wonder citus and salt flavor. The ice cold ramen noodles with kimchi and egg were delicious. The Carne asada tacos were seasoned well. Great place to grab food and drinks.

Soooo wanted to give 5 stars but due to ordering delivery with NO utensils or napkins going with a 4.5! We visited a local brewery and ordered delivery to the brewery, food was delish! The BEST truffle fries I’ve EVER had! Tacos were great and service was fast and driver was friendly and didn’t have a hard time finding us at the brewery at all. We will be eating at this spot again (I mean $2 taco Tuesday ?!!! Yes please!)

This place opened tonight. Another great addition to the neighborhood! We had the pork belly, burger, brussels, & truffle fries. Definitely heavy, so take it easy. We’ll go the route of the tacos next time.
