Was recommended this spot by my family and wish I had stopped by sooner. Been a fan of smash burgers but this place does Mexican smash burgers which has even more flavor! Got the Uno combo to try the fries as well, and it comes with a side of jalapeño cheese sauce that pairs perfectly with the fries and even as a drizzle for the burger. The fries are perfectly crispy, which I feel would go well in the burrito version that they have but I’ll have to come back to try it next time. Finished off the meal with a horchata soft serve rolled with mini churros and it was the perfect lunch. Just a note that the soft serve melts fast so I’d recommend taking it in a cup, or eating the cone fast. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Delicious, flavorful and fresh are just a few words to describe this restaurant. I ordered the Dos smash burger combo and one taco, fries are tasty, especially dipped in the hot jalapeño cheese sauce. I will definitely be back. Clean facility, friendly workers. I went on Sunday just after they opened at 11am. They offer Coke Zero with the very small round ice cubes.
There are a few beers on tap as well.

I stopped by to grab a Burgerito to see what all the fuss was about. Oh my… It was wonderful! The tallow fries tucked inside added so much more to the flavor and texture! Very enjoyable!

While I was there, I heard them mention that they will be trying BIRRIA any moment now!! I will have to return and try that as well!

There is a good amount of a selection to order and fill your needs. The food is inviting and you don’t want to just order one thing and desert is a must. It’s the best place if you have cravings and want to enjoy a twist of flavors. The ice cream is delicious and so is the whole menu.

We ordered the uno smash burger, taco, and fries to try. The quality is exquisite, and flavors are very unique! 5/5 would recommend! The fries are cooked in beef fat, which gives it a rich and delicious flavor! We will definitely be coming back.

Can be a bit hard to find though. Beasties is next to the Barnes and Noble!

Among the most flavor bomb, delicious burgers around. Greasy delicious juicy meat that packs so much taste, and the chiles, chorizo, and spicy spread sauce in the burger genuinely do make a difference that make it stand out from other burgers. The tacos are a bit overpriced at 4 bucks, yet delicious, taste just like a fried burger and dipping in the spread transports to heaven. The service is so nice and make sure you go above and beyond. So much discounts and promotions here especially for students so this is a place to keep updated on.

Beasties is a very interesting burger business. Its a mash up of mexican taqueria and a smashburger stand had a love child. The burgers were super tasty, the had the perfect crispiness on the meat, the right squishiness from the bun, the burger sauce was super flavorful. The thinly sliced onion and jalapeno contributed flavor, texture and heat. The queso for dipping was just “the gravy” on top. It brings cheesy spiciness to the fries and my burger.,they also offer a super tasty crispy taco.with a smashburger, it was an awesome version of a taco. Also worth mentioning is their ice cream, in horchata and mexican chocolate flavors, super creamy and not overly sweet. The ambiance is a cool mix of art and long beach iconography. The patio is a comforting perch to dit and watch the world go by. They have an array of craft beers, try the Long Beach beer lab, Sublime mexican lager. Perfect to wash down, a delicious burger. Service was fast and friendly.

Went during the Grand Opening and even though there was a long line because of the giveaways it moved really quick. The food is a bit pricey but is super high quality and very tasty. The burgers, fries, etc have an Umami flavor profile!!

Wow wow wowwwww…I was not expecting to love Beasties as much as I do! It’s seemingly simple food with the menu centered around smash burgers, tacos, and burritos, but the flavors are not. We tried the burgerito, dos burger, and a single taco, all of which were delicious. They use several meats, including chorizo, which was my favorite part. The queso that came on the side had a nice kick, and the fries in the burgerito were perfectly crispy. I loved the spicy green peppers that came with each meal, too. We got the horchata soft serve to go and it was perfect and not too sweet! As a bonus, all the staff were super warm and friendly. We’ll definitely be back soon.
