I miss the salad bar Mongolian BBQ had. The guy cooking was really nice, but needed help. The food had a burnt taste to it. I think he was trying to handle cooking too much food at once. It was also really cold in there.

Despite some negative reviews, we had a great experience at BD’s mongolian grill. The staff was excellent! Our server Ava was very positive and friendly from the get go. She provided great service and we never had to wait for a drink refill. Our main cook Austin was also very friendly and sanitary. It’s always great to see the staff washing their hands frequently. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be returning.

What happened to this place?? We *attempted* to eat here a few weeks ago for a family birthday. Despite many tables being open, we were told there was a 20-30 minute wait. No place to stand while waiting that didn’t seem to be in someones way. We were finally seated at a table that hadn’t been occupied during that 30 minute wait. Someone asks if we are going through the line or ordering from the menu, and gets our drink order (just water). We never saw him again. After more than 10 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. It was freezing inside, everyone was bundled up. The grillers used to keep the atmosphere pretty lively but it was soooo quiet in there. The only employee that seemed to have any energy was an Asian guy…it seemed like he was taking over the host counter and trying to get the place going.
I doubt we will try to go back again (we had a frustrating attempt a few months ago too). Too bad, it used to be a favorite.

I had a very nice meal! Our waiter was really cool, very funny. Spacious. Food great, they never let anything go empty and were very on top of it. One of the cooks was kind of crappy to me and a few others but i would be crabby too if i just cooked all day with a grill under my chin. Had a good time though!

We are regular customers at the one that closed down in dearborn. I have to say since having to go to the canton location, we have been seriously disappointed. From the $1 charge for eggs, whether they have them or not is a total mystery for the day. Consistency is not their strong suit. Took about 12 minutes to order. About 5 more minutes to get our bowls to fill.
I was told there was 2 cooks, but I never saw the second cook. The cook seemed to be overwhelmed and extremely slow. Finishing every dish before putting new ones on the grill, which made the process slow, and the line long. While waiting for the cook to acknowledge us and direct us to a number others just started placing their plates as they pleased cutting us in the line. When no one addressed the issue after standing in line already for about another 5/6 minutes, we decided to just leave. We left our plates uncooked and just opted for a home dinner. Our drinks barely made it to the table as we walked out. The place was busy, but we have seen it 10x busier with more direction and better service. Even the host seemed unhappy to be there. The greeting wasn’t welcoming at all. Maybe that should of been our first clue as we have always had a friendly smile, or friendly greeting. I have to say everytime we come here the experience gets worse. At the dearborn location we always had an amazing experience, I was seriously hoping it’d be the same with this location since its the same owner, but I feel it’s the staff that made that location so great. I hope they do some improvements soon, as this was my snd my daughters favorite restaurant to visit together.

I love eating here. The restaurant was very clean and organized. The staff kept the food prepped and ready for everyone. The cookers were very nice and cooked everything perfectly. This was definitely a 10/10 for me. Can’t wait to come back.

Her service was fantastic. Not as many choices on the buffet. Mr. salad bar. The guys that cooked the food aren’t really into it anymore. And the restaurant itself was very cold.

My friends & I traveled 45 min away to come here because all of the ones near us have closed over the years. This location did not disappoint! We got served right away. Everything was very fresh. We forgot that Ikea was right down the road so we’ll be planning another trip to BDs again! I hope they consider opening new locations as this is now the only location left in Michigan.
